Top 5 favorite games and why?

1.ES5: Skyrim I really enjoyed the freedom and open world aspect, put 3000 hours into it. Easy number 1 2.Battlefield 4, all my friends got this game with me, and we loved the teamwork gameplay style. 3.Red Dead Redemption, story, musical score from entrance to Mexico. Multiplayer. Need I say more. 4.Halo 3, close to 4 but just barely loses. Still incredible. Multiplayer especially. 5.Fallout NV, I really liked how obsidian handled it even whilst being rushed, it played good and had interesting stuff happening almost always. What are your guys' favorites?

  • 1. Chrono Trigger (SNES) - everything about this game is perfect. The graphics, the music, the story, the gameplay. It's also not too long and not too short, making the pacing of the game absolutely perfect. 2. Demon's Souls (PS3) - a revolution in design. Immersion is key here--I've never felt so entranced by a game's atmosphere in my life. I believe that The Tower of Latria is the most well designed video game level of all time, bar none. 3. Resident Evil 2 (PSX/N64) - playing one character as an "a" storyline and another as a "b" storyline with intersecting storylines was incredibly clever at that time and I still don't know a game that does it as well today. 4. The Legendary Axe (Turbo-Grafx) - Just an amazing platformer from start to finish. Awesome gameplay and one hell of an awesome soundtrack. 5. Bioshock (PS3/PC/X360) - this is in my opinion the culmination of what a great story driven first person shooter should be. It took everything that's laid the groundwork before it like Half Life and made it even better, darker, stranger, and more unforgettable than ever. And that ending, holy crap...

  • 1. Halo 2: So many childhood memories 2. Borderlands 2: I love the humor, loot reward system, the replayability, the DLC, and gunplay. 3. Smite: for when I'm feeling competitive. 4. The last of us: Do I even have to explain why? I don't have a PlayStation, but I was able to make my own playthrough at my cousins house. 5. Skyrim: I nearly destroyed my social life slaying legendary dragons.

  • The first four are as follows, but the last one is just a really good game. Top four + one kind of thing. Legend of Zelda Wind Waker- Just an overall fantastic game, and I really loved the dungeons and the islands. It was pretty snazzy Pokémon Emerald- Hands down the best game for me, Blaziken and Rayquaza were my first level 100's. I remember wanting a ralts so much, but never catching one. I made amends with that in OR though. Need for Speed Most Wanted (original)- I may have been stuck on Earl for years, but that game was astounding. I racked up bounty by the millions on every car, always going for the pick slips. The remake was utterly disappointing though. Fallout: New Vegas- My old man introduced me to the series, and I played them first on the pc. It's a game I've put hundreds of hours into, and I've discovered new things Everytime Like doing an all luck play through and gambling the casinos at level 3. Smash Bro's 64- I remember playing it in my grandmas basement, against my brother and little cousins. It holds a lot of memories for me.

    1. Halo 3, due to it being an amazing FPS, and many memorable moments with friends and siblings. 2. Destiny, I love the feel of the game and spent many hours just in patrol. Raiding is a lot of fun and Crucible used to be. 3. Borderlands, Incredibly fun and who doesn't love Handsome Jack, or Mad Moxxi? 4. Left for dead 2, it's so easy to just let loose and have a good time just shredding, gunning, or beating your way through zombies. 5. Dark souls 3, really rewarding killing a boss like any souls game, and shutting down an invader is pretty satisfying. (Edits, they're fun lol.)

Mortal Kombat 2... Never have i ever gotten so pissed at a game...I loveHATED this game so much I had to have broke 3 Sega controllers on this game alone but finely beating it on the hardest setting was a moment I'll never forget...

Arkham city (best story) Uncharted 2 (when I got this game in '09 it looked amazing and the train was gorgeous, I've never been more blown away by a game) Honorable mentions: Halo reach, borderlands 2, fallout new Vegas, bioshock infinite, red dead redemption. • 1: Halo 3, an amazing FPS by Bungie back when they used to be good. Had a great campaign and the amazing Multiplayer as well as the awesome community 2: Dark souls, a game that is not afraid to shit all over modern day gaming tropes of accessibility. Truly a masterpiece with the interconnected world and the amazing bosses 3: Super Mario bros, this was the game that got me into gaming just sitting at the TV playing with my little brother led to some fun times. This game has a special place in my heart 4: Star Wars Battlefront 2, this game allowed me to live through my Star Wars fantasy with the amazing scale and Space battles. Most of my time was spent in Galactic conquest. 5: The last of us, an amazing Naughty dog game that truly pulls at your heart strings. This game pretty much bought a tear to my eye at one point. I would highly recommend this game but it falls behind the others on my list.

      • Skyrim: favorite game ever. Musical score, open world, landscapes, customization. Borderlands 2: guns, guns guns , great story and characters. Handsome Jack is my favorite villain. Half-life series. Simply epic! Great story, incredible graphics for the time and also: gravity gun! StarCraft: this game helped me through some dark times...there is no better way to get heartbreak off your mind than defending your base against. aliens! Diablo series. From original through 3...my first taste of loot insanity. This game scared the crap out of me..there were very few (if any) games at the time with bloody corpses and Satanic imagery incorporated into the quintessential "good vs evil" story. If only this were top 10!

      • 1: dark souls 2. It gets a lot of hate but I love the PVP. 2: dark souls. Still amazing after all this time. 3: warframe. -blam!- off, it's not pay-to-win. If you played the game for any decent amount of time you would know that. 4: halo 5. Mostly for the forge and multiplayer. 5: AC black flag.

1). Witcher 3 2). Uncharted Collection 3). Destiny Collection is 3 games so have to list it as counting for 3; Destiny and Witcher 3 for the graphics: and Witcher 3 for the story. Edit 1: Runner-up : Skyrim Legendary Edition.

      • Only five games is really hard. Luckily i'm one of the people that believes most games have gotten better over the years, so can ignore most of my early years as a gamer. 1. The Witcher 3 Maybe really soon to put this at the top spot, but it's truly what i've wanted in a game. Great story and characters, beautiful world to explore, tons of interesting content. The game i really wanted since early elder scrolls games. 2. Bioshock The original one. The mystery and beautiful places to explore. The whole vibe of that game was amazing. Also the end to the story was really good. 3. Final Fantasy 7 Played loads of final fantasy back in the 90s. This was the one that i loved most. 4. Battlefield 2 The multiplayer i have the most time spent on, so that's enough to put it on my list. 5. Mass effect 2 Simply because my list needs some Mass Effect on it. Loved the story and characters. Amazing art style too. Gave me sci fi nerdgasms.

      • This will be hard: Halo 3: Incredible multiplayer with amazing custom games. Most fun I've ever had with a game. Half-Life: game-changing design, immersive fusion of setting, gameplay and narrative. My favourite single-player game ever. Riven: beautiful, exotic, mysterious, an incredible world of incredible detail, married to a brilliant story. BioShock: a plethora of gameplay options in a mind-blowing narrative. My favourite single-player game of last ten. Skyrim: an unparalleled epic stuffed to the brim with content, exploration, discovery, and beautiful scenery. My favourite RPG ever.

        5. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 My first game and my stem of Sonic love lmao. Its completely nostalgia goggles as S3&K is surperior but I just love the slight crudeness of 2 still. 4. Dark Souls Its hard for me to pinpoint one of them I like this most and kinda consider them all one giant entity. Just no other role playing game holds a torch to this series and I can viably play any way I wish. 3. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening My favorite Zelda game personally and have a lot of nostalgic ties to it. I love the world and fun junk you can do in the original version. Prefer it over DX. 2. Solatorobo: Red the Hunter Weird off beat DS game as the spirital sequel to the PS1 Tail Concerto. It's gameplay is actually somewhat boring but everything else and so lovingly made that I consider it a masterpiece in story telling and world building. 1. Okami HD Always was a huge fan of Okami and when this hit on PS3 it was everything Incould ask for bar the credits theme. Its just fantastic all around and kinda feels like 3-4 game stories all in one. Runner ups:
Destiny is such a huge part of my life its hard to not have it here Minecraft from beta until a year ago was kinda my last "destiny" Overwatch is climbing the ranks Sonic Generations while flawed is a classic for me Lion King on Genesis Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2x/Underground
• Streets of Rage (1990): My very second game after Sonic 2, very young kid, my cousin calls me and asks to play, gives me the 2nd joystick and from there I'm sold on videogames! Couch Coop at it's best, we used to create a lot of stories during the stages, the situations of each new enemy type, scenarios and etc. Jolly fun. Final Fantasy VII (1997): I replay this game every now and then to remember who I am, my values, my dreams. When I'm sad or angry I listen to one of the music pieces of the game and remember the places, the characters, the funny moments, this game is home. Crash Bandicoot 3 (1998): Love Sonic and Mario, but sorry fellas, this is the most remarkable plataformer I've played, my younger cousins and sister used to play together, they would repeat the Coco's tiger and jet ski stages dozens of times, great vibes. Pokémon Red (1998) I've played them all, caught em all and went competitive in 6th gen, 999+ hours in Y version and waiting for 7th gen. #teammoon #hype Uncharted 4 (2016) Sic Parvs Magna! Greatness from small beginnings! This game is as intense as The Last of Us in my opinion, but for the positivity instead of despair. Made me rethink my life, about family, about stories we will tell when we get old, about seeking for something more, it doesn't need to be a pirate adventure but we should never stop doing what we love or let the routine and obligations take over everything else. Most stunning beautiful graphics I've ever seen. 5 games only is a crime
