Temporary restriction
I received a temp restriction last week and was wondering, how long does a temp restriction last?

Bungie does not disclose details or overturn Bans or Restrictions. If you are "[b][u]Restricted[/u][/b]" it is temporary. If you are "[b][u]Banned[/u][/b]" it is permanent. You can find all the details on Bans and Restrictions at their [url=https://www.bungie.net/7_Destiny-Account-Restrictions-and-Banning-Policies/en/Help/Article/11929]OFFICIAL POLICY ARTICLE[/url] If you were not given a time frame upon log in, you will just have to wait it out.

Well that kinda sucks cuz I am not a cheater and I am being punished for having a bad connection during trials. I have been playing since the beginning and this is the 1st time being restricted from crucible gameplay. I was planning on buying the pre-order for the new dlc but if I play again and have terrible internet connection (which I have no control over) I can be banned and out of the money that I have spent on Destiny. Also, I have spent a lot of time playing Destiny and enjoy the game but I don't wanna be screwed over because of some try-hards in trials. If this restriction goes on any longer I don't think I will be buying the expansion, I will just find another game to play.
