• Corsair is by far my favorite. I bought into the hype of Razer for awhile, but that's all it is, is hype brand name. The best keyboard I have ever used is a Corsair keyboard. The best mouse I have ever used is a Logitech mmo mouse.

      • Razer is awful. Plain and simple. It used to be that they filled certain niches that no one else did, but that stopped being true at least four years ago. Now, they charge more for their mice, they started using cheaper switches in their keyboards without passing any savings off to the consumer, their mouse pads have an obnoxiously large logo on it. They stopped selling the excellent budget oriented abyssus because reasons. The deathadder 4G and later actually have worse sensor performance than the 3.5G because "muh DPI." The rubber side stuff is terrible. Lastly, synapse is designed by Satan. I shouldn't have to wait five minutes for my mouse to work properly and I DEFINITELY should not have to log into a piece of dubious software to change my mouse settings. As for my favorites? I guess I'm brand agnostic. For mice, I tend to like Zowie for overall build quality and lack of nonsense, but I currently use the g303 because it's the only mouse with a 3366 sensor that's a decent weight. I'd buy an ec-1 with a 3360 in a second though. I also kind of like the Steelseries Rival, but the sensor seems to skip off to the side every once in a while-- not enough to make it unusable, but enough to freak me out in game. For keyboards, there are bajilion different manufacturers to suit different build specifications. Cooler master has a nice selection of mechanical keyboards. The quickfire tk has a cool layout and comes in a few different switches, so it makes a great first mechanical keyboard for most people. I tend to use a noppoo choc mini with browns as my gaming keyboard and I have a Model M for web browsing and typing. Artisan makes the best mousepads on the market if you're willing to pay twenty dollars on shipping. I also really like the corsair mm200, though I'm not keen on the Klingon bat'leth that they adopted as their logo a few years ago. For a headset: Don't. You're better off with a $10 mic and a pair of good headphones from a real audio company. I've owned stuff from Beyerdynamic and AKG, and I've had a good experience with Sennheiser.

Razer is good and I am currently using the Deathadder, but I could get a better Logitech mouse for the same price. I play on a gaming laptop so I can't say much for keyboards. I use a headset and I got a Logitech G430. It has had zero issues since I got it and that was a few years back. Logitech makes awesome stuff for the price they sell it at.

Corsair. Razer items are generally made cheaply and terribly, and the Corsair keyboard I have its easily one of the best keyboards I have ever used in my life. I did use a Razer Molten Naga mouse, and I have no problems with it besides the clicker part, it's nothing but cheap plastic, and I'm not even sure how it broke, but it lasted me like 3 years so I can't complain much.

Razor has good mice but from what hear they over priced keyboards that just look decent. The green switches aren't very good. At first I was going to stick with one brand but I ended up getting a Razor Naga Mouse Corsair Mechanical Keyboard and Logitech speakers.

              • My laptop, mouse, and keyboard are from Razer. A little pricey, but high definitely high quality products.
