What is wrong with the gunslingers tripmine grenade? I would stick a grenade on a players face and they straight up eat the blast as if it was part of a meal plan. Keep in mind that this has happened with players without their supers active.
-
Not sure about gunslinger but all stormcaller nades suck
-
No more sticky bro
-
What is wrong with me? I get killed by freaking trip mines all the time
-
Tripmine grenade no longer sticks to enemies. It now falls off and arms on the ground/wall. Bungie said that it was never intended to be used as a "sticky", but as a trap. So you need to aim for a wall/ceiling/floor near your target now.
-
I use them the same way I use lightning grenades to prime them then take a couple shots. They aren't OHK anymore but still very effective. If you can time it right and shoot just as they are taking damage they will just stay there trying to shoot back thinking they're getting shot only. My favorite is to put it on a wall behind them, push with a primary as they back up into the grenade. Throwing knives suck now though.
-
You probably didn't see the update on Hunter nerfs/buffs. So yeah Tripmines don't stick to enemies anymore. Well it does but it just hits the ground afterwards xD
-
Aim for the feet or somewhere very close to them when they're not focused on you. Also planting Tripmines is more effective than you would think, it's actually sad how many players walk right into them. It's rare to get a one shot kill with them, but if you're in the area it's an easy kill once they're nearly dead.
-
They ... Don't ... Stick ... To ... Players
-
They made them into more of a trap. It's not useless, just not a free kill anymore.
-
Use swarm grenades.
-
Hahahahaha i have been crucially blown up by some trip mines to be left with a sliver of health and quietly slink away to nurse my wounds. Hunters officially have zero grenades that will ohk high armor guardians (without the player having to stand in the grenade) Great job bungo!!
-
Grenades for hunters are usually finishers or to move a player in pvp to be finished.
-
They changed them so they don't stick to guardians anymore. I almost wish they did the same in PvE. One time I was throwing one at a Taken Centurion right after he shot out that ball that follow's you. It stuck to it and my own grenade killed me.
-
I think it's really cute that people are trying to pretend that the trip mines were nerfed into obscurity.
-
Lmao Gunslinger's grenades work fine, just stop.
-
It was op and annoying in mayhem that's why
-
I beg to differ, its been working fine for me. Heck sometimes get multi kills. As for the sticking it on players I rarely used it for that so it really doesn't bother me.
-
Trip Mines are amazing. You just need to learn to use them properly.
-
Trip mines were nerfed because everyone used them. They are pretty much useless now... like the idiot that decided to nerf them. I think someone puts extra strength "stoopid" in the water cooler at Bungie HQ.
-
Edited by Erijian: 7/27/2016 4:10:33 AMIt does 188 damage; use it for a trap and then rush them when they take the hit, for sealing off an area, or for finishing off enemies hiding. Throwing it directly at people is pointless as it should be.
-
They nerfed them. They no longer stick to enemies. I am appalled that no one has said that.
-
I've noticed that too. During IB the tripmines didn't even kill lower light level guardians too. I just switched to tracking grenades... They nerf it to the ground.
-
Change Young Ahamkara's Spine to allow two of any solar grenade to be carried...
-
I personally use the frag :/ 1 shot kill if its a direct hit..basically the new tripmine
-
Wow man its called a tripmine it's a trap dood gtfo looked up tripmine in the dictionary
-
I main a hunter and here's what i propose. Increase damage when attached to surfaces and make them explode on contact on enemies with a damage of a average grenade that should satisfy the balance gods and hunters alike
