Hello,
What do you guys prefer better. "Hawkmoon" or "Eyasluna?" They're both really good hand cannons, although the "Hawkmoon" has been hit a lot with nerfs. And people have been switching to "Eyasluna" because of it. Also it does not take up an exotic slot. This is just a poll to see how many people still think the "Hawkmoon" is as viable as the "Eyasluna". Feel free to LEAVE A LIKE on this post, I would love to see what the majority of the community thinks :D.

Thinking about this, I realize now the hawkmoon has a stable sight. If anyone's head is between the sight, they won't be soon! They'll be DEAD 💀 the eyes doesn't have the "headfinder" (as I call them) sights if your looking for a hand cannon for BOTH pvp and pve, go for hawkmoon. You won't regret it. Stability is about equal, but really, here's a suggestion. If you want to nail headshots, use the preferred weapon of choice (your favorite) and turn off controller vibrations in settings. IT WILL HELP. Back to the comparison. Well the hawkmoon has a fixed roll, do you won't get a bad roll or a God roll. The eyes however, has random stats so you could get some trashy sight and overall a terrible roll. I'd say eyes if your a competitive crucible player STRICTLY or hawkmoon if you don't really professionalize in either. Well, that's it. Hawkmoon is all around, eyes is for crucible players. I'm sure the eyes is going to be nerfed sometime. Stay in destiny kids

Edited by ser0s: 10/7/2016 4:45:04 PMComing in late on this vote but I believe they are both viable options still (even against the new Rise of Iron Legendary Palindrome). On the one hand, Hawkmoon comes default with "Luck In The Chamber" and "Holding Aces" which ensures at least 3 shots are crits, and these prock all the time from personal experience. On the other hand, if you are very lucky, you could God Roll an Eyasluna to surpass a Hawkmoon stats wise and have the added benefit of not needing to take up an Exotic slot. Below is my Eyasluna "almost" God Roll compared to my Hawkmoon. EYASLUNA (True Sight, Spray and Play, Rifled Barrel, Hidden Hand): https://dl2.pushbulletusercontent.com/GL2lSnsI9D8ZAqKDJO22VwzX2hlfvakG/Screenshot_20161007-111021.png The only way the above roll could have been any better was if I had gotten Snapshot Sight as first perk and Range Finder as second, as it would almost entirely negate the Taken King 2.0 hand cannon nerf. HAWKMOON: https://dl2.pushbulletusercontent.com/x2F2Lmvf0gksrjRBAqP2piZ6mifcTV8x/Screenshot_20161007-111650.png Notice how marginally the Hawkmoon outdoes the Eyasluna on impact (82/81), magazine (13/12) and reload (39/31). Eyasluna either destroys Hawkmoon or is on par with it on every other stat category. Show less

i want the EYASLUNA sobad any help wood make me so so so happy !
-
I will always love hawkmoon even though it seems like bungie wants to bury in the ground with tlw
-
why use hawkmoon when i have two god tier eyaslunas? (equipped on warlock and Titan if you want to look)
-
Both are viable but I prefer to use my Eyasluna because it frees up an exotic slot. And it's red. The roll is: Sureshot IS Rangefinder Hand loaded Luck in the Chamber.
-
I vote eyes since you can get some fun perk combos, like rifled barrel and third eye, it LitC and outlaw. If you feel like praying to rng you can hawk moon all day hoping for lucky bullets
-
Hawkmoon seems a little more accurate and stable when you are firing fast..
-
Eyasluna I just feel more comfortable with. It's more reliable in my opinion. But I'll switch every now and then
-
I use hawkmoon now and then on my defender in mayhem when those lucky rounds proc with WoL active it does like a 150 damage per crit it's so fun, shit, just with WoL it does like 115ish, already a 2 shot anything
-
Eyasluna, no question. Potential for better range and stability, much more reliable and it doesn't take up an exotic slot. If you have a well or god rolled Eyasluna, you have no reason to use a Hawkmoon.
-
Hawkmoon is and forever will be my baby.
-
This is odd reading this thread. I love my Luna and the hawk moon seems like it's loaded with blanks now. Can't hit anything with it.
-
Has anybody else realized Eyasluna is spanish for Hawkmoon or am I late?
-
Even though my eyasluna is really good I've still be using hawk moon because well... it has a TWO SHOT potential.
-
Young Hawkmoon
-
They're both really good. But id honestly prefer my baby hawkmoon over hawkmoon sadly.
-
Last word
-
I've never used eysaluna but I think hawk moon has better fire rate and most pistols take three shots no matter what usually where as the ones with luck have a two shot potential, just because how much luck Hawk Moon has I'd have to say that Hawk Moon would win. Just my opinion
-
Hawkmoon is crap
-
My lord high fixer better than both.
-
Idiot the 3rd is the best

Edited by Iyrha: 7/26/2016 11:08:02 PMI'll take my Eyasluna over Hawkmoon any day. Way better hit registration and way further damage dropoff. It's not even a competition.
-
Eyasluna Little hawk becacuse i can get stability perks and rifled barrel witch means quicker recoil recovery and less ghost bullets. Plus if i can get on target faster and easier after each shot that means i will more consistantly land my tripple taps than a person getting luck in the chamber 2 taps from hawkmoon. So in base terms a gun whos perks are active all the time vs. A Gamble
-
I always get shrekt by a good eyasluna, Hawkmoon is just something pretty to look at before I blow their brains out aginst the wall with my Universal.

Edited by Tempest: 7/27/2016 2:11:36 AMI find it funny how the eyasluna is supposed to be the "mini hawkmoon", but it's raw stats are much better than the hawkmoon. In fact, they are similar to the original hawkmoon before all of its nerfs. Hawkmoon has and still is my favorite gun. I have more kills with it than anything else. They need to rethink their decision. Return hawkmoon to its former glory, and make the eyasluna actually a "mini hawkmoon". Edit: Hawkmoon is also an exotic.... Using the eyasluna is like being able to equip two exotics since the eyasluna is pretty much the hawkmoon before the nerfs.
