What technology that is actually being researched and developed somewhere in the world today, do you want to see become part of our future everyday world the most?
Preferably something that sounds to us like the internet sounded in 1995.
I'll add my own later.
Try to share a link with your post if possible.
-
Warp Speed
-
Solar sails being used actually to travel. And a perfected quantum computer
-
Reversing the Telomerase in our cells, allowing the average human to live longer.
-
Intergalactic travel
-
Cold fusion. An energy source like that would spark a new scientific age.
-
Legitimate solar travel. I think an airplane recently flew around the world or something on solar power alone, so that's pretty cool
-
Stuff related to Pugs.
Wow, so original I know.

Oh and 3D printed cheese
I read alot of these and it would be awesome to see most of them come to life. As for the one thing I would actually like to see would be ftl speed and go live no mans sky not just play it.
-
Sexbots. I don't want power armour, or flying cars or lightsabers. All I want are sexbots. Lots and lots of sexbots.
-
Intergalactic space travel. Not just to get to other galaxies but to get there in a life time
-
What about giant robot fights between America and Japan... Ehh? *raises eyebrows*
-
Fully responsive prosthetic limbs, with a safeguard for high psi of force for safety purposes. Functional 3d printed organs A time machine to take all of Nikola tesla's research before the government does, so everyone has access to free power without burning our fossil fuels. Terra forming planets. Hemp legalization for paper, clothing, concrete, ect. (Not really an advancement, but beneficial to the earth.)
-
3D printing functional organs would be great.
-
Automatic gas chambers
-
Space elevators would be nice.
-
Time Machine.
-
Portable plasma weaponry
-
Fully immersive vr, an unlimited power source, teleportation, time travel, interstellar travel to name a few

Star Trek style holodecks!!!!! :D

Augmented reality. Screw that virtual reality shit. It'll be way to much for most computers to handle, besides augmented reality could make so many things much better.

I know it sounds ridiculous, but imagine actual real life lightsabers, a youtuber has actually kind of made one. Not exactly like one from the movies but I'm hoping one day we use lightsabers instead of regular weapons. Also love the idea of time travel , and while one of the least explored concepts, I see it becoming a reality sooner than we expect .
