Just beat Yhorm the Giant on my first DS3 playthrough.
All I can say is that he is the easiest boss I've fought so far. I died the first time cause I didn't know to use the Storm Ruler but I figured it out and destroyed him.
Honestly I was a little dissapointed, the initial cut scene made me giddy about getting to battle this massive being, but to hit him 5 times to kill him is just sad. (I also didn't have Siegward to help)
He might be a little harder if the Storm Ruler didn't stun lock him. Hit him, bring him to his knees, charge up and repeat.

Imo I loved the boss fight especially with sigward lore wise it's is a fight between 2 friends.

3 RepliesYeah so far, most of the bosses have been jokes for me. The only hard boss I've encountered were Dancer and Pontiff, who I just beat. Hopefully the later ones are real challenges.

I learned about the storm ruler part mid fighr in like 3 hts. I equipped it during the battle too even (he slow). Only reason i died first time was intentional to complete onion bro quest (i read ahead that onion was for him)

Agreed my first play through my friends and I had no clue about storm ruler and almost killed him using magic and slashing away. Would of been a way better fight that way in my opinion but still congrats on the kill!
