All you people do is cry and moan.... Good players will still beat you no matter what they use.
Guess what will happen if they nerf snipers to the ground? Good players will adapt and then you will have something new to cry about, whether it be shotguns/fusion rifles or anything.
Give it a rest.

Edited by MVASNOOPY: 7/24/2016 7:17:10 PMA good player means using the META? Huh yeah that makes sense lmao
-
-
Hmmm... I think the point was its less fun.....
-
Yup it's true anyone can use meta weapons but someone has to be at the top of the leaderboard and someone at the bottom, usually it's frequently the same people since year one topping leaderboards because they learned to adapt to metas and have inherent good skill.
skilled people will always be skilled and sucky people that complain on forums will remain sucky people on the forums
Good players don't need Last Word or a Longbow with Quickdraw/Hidden Hand. I think good players don't need to play with the meta. Anybody can pick up a TLW and a sniper/shotty, but almost nobody can do well with an Eyasluna paired with a fusion rifle. Good players don't adapt. All players adapt. It's easy to see what's better than the rest and it's easy to take advantage of those weapons and abilities. Adaptation in Destiny is just a way of saying players have moved on to the next-easiest way to get kills. Nothing more.

Edited by Maggz: 7/24/2016 7:25:22 PMAlmost nobody? I got 29 kills with my fusion rifle and Finalla's Peril in banner yesterday when I decided to mix it up and it was the easiest thing ever. Why would that be a difficult thing to do? A sniper's definitely more difficult to play with aggressively compared to a fusion rifle.
-
If it's so easy, then why is nobody doing it? Sniping aggressively is as easy as shotgunning aggressively. Pair either weapon with TLW and you're instantly a god. Why else would everyone be using the same build? Don't be blind to what's been obvious for months.
-
Because Last Word's an easy gun to use when you know how to use it. It's literally impossible to outgunned someone who's using that damn thing at close to mid range if they hit all shots. And dude, you absolutely cannot tell me that shotguns require the same amount of skill as snipers when playing aggressively. In no way, shape or form is that true.
-
And that's why Last Word is a problem causer. The learning curve on it is almost nonexistent compared to a weapon like NLB—which rewards a skilled player properly. Snipers honestly aren't much harder to use than shotguns. The AA on them is ridiculous, and you can bodyshot + primary bodyshot someone in the time it takes to get a shotgun/melee kill—with way less risk. This whole meta requires the least precision shots I've seen since HoW. Bungie might as well remove headshot multipliers.

This.

I use plan c and eyasluna I usually get 1st or 2nd

He said it's boring.

Who are you calling "you people"?

So, as Mr. Thunderchocolate was saying, this book has some great strategies on how to beat the first boss.

Thank you for saying that.
-
Good players will only use good weapons, that is why they can kill you no matter what they use.
-
Why would you use shitty weapons? You want to be at an advantage not a disadvantage.
-
All I hear is an excuse... You could say that about any PVP game ever.
-
Yes, but I'm talking about destiny PvP, which is vastly different from most PvP games.

Edited by Swarlley: 7/23/2016 11:28:51 PMNot really... its a FPS with the same principles. Name a FPS where there isnt a meta that shifts when weapons/abilities get nerfed/buffed. People will always use what give them the best chance of doing well. I have not once come on here and complained about a particular weapon. Even when thorn was a thing. I practice, learn how to counter it, or play smarter. The crying is just pathetic. If you think it is the weapon that makes a player good, you are so wrong.
-
Thorn wasn't really a problem for me. I almost always sniped them. But then I found a neat little glitch that if done correctly stops the burn. So I just always used that. Worked about 50% of the time.
