There's always that one guy who has to ruin it for everyone else.

he didn't ruin it for everyone else, it was a mistake and it was going to get fixed regardless

I feel thatr the year one people got ripped off when they were made to repurchase the game a third time with in a year to to get these items.. I saw a poist on here earlier where the person stated that year one people paid something like $160 -$170 for the original game dlcs and ttk. The people that came in year 2 paid $80 for the collectors edition which is half of what the yerar one people paid. I think the year one people actually did pay for it and should get it with out having to pay for the game again. That is disrespectful of bungie to screw their year one customers and fans that way.Just Bungie not allowing xnbox onbe payers to pre order and forcing them to go to game stop to pre order. I feel if they wait to pre order it will turn out like TTk did for the 360 people. They were told they would be able to pre order and turns out they didnt get to. The got robbed of the ttk pre order perks. Stop crying and let the year one players have what they have earned and paid for 3 times over!

you didnt have to re-buy everything else again to get this. if you had vanilla, plus both DLC prior, then you had the option to buy the digital collectors bonus content for $20, after buying TTK for $40.

Edited by Burrito Banshee: 7/23/2016 9:28:01 PMI am a year 1 player, I am not crying about it, I'm just saying that if they're fixing their problem I'm fine with it. I don't think it's fair for the people who paid $80 dollars for the collectors edition when everyone else got it for free

Microsoft will have found out anyways.
-
And yet you're the one who chatted with them for 30 minutes. Doesn't get more petty.
-
its not petty its PROPER. do you NOT report crimes that you see happen before you? if someones crying for help do you not answer? there are legitimate reasons to be concerned about this, like the possibility of your account being compromised, or being mistakenly charged. the only petty one here is YOU acting entitled to something you dont deserve.
-
He's pretty much required to report this to Microsoft, according to his bio, he's an Activision Ambassador, it's his job.
-
There's nothing petty about a person contacting support over experiencing a glitch.
-
What is he was concerned his account was hacked by someone that had the Ce items. That's something that would've come to my mind if those items randomly showed up, and I would've contacted Microsoft.
-
I chatted with them so I can bring to their attention that players are able to download a add on for free. I was being honest.
-
Honestly you did the right thing we shouldn't get payed content for free unless it's a gesture or gift.
I can still equip the stuff though I don't know why.
-
Right. Treat yourself to a cookie.
-
I find it hilarious you're trying to take a high ground when this basically boils down to you thinking its OK to steal/scam/lie.
-
Stealing is taking what isn't yours. This was given. By your logic, finding a $20 bill on the ground in public is theft.
-
Not even comparable. It was a mistake. Now it's getting fixed.
