I only like the original and Melee. I can't stand Brawl... Haven't played the newest one but I've seen it.

I don't blame you for not enjoying Brawl. I probably only enjoyed it because I actually played it before I played Melee. Well, actually, I did play Melee first, but I was like 3 years old at the time. You should really try the fourth game. It's honestly better than Melee imo, but that's just me.

I'd say 4 is better then melee from a casual perspective. What drives me insane with the melee lovers is the fact that everyone uses the same 3 characters in the competitive scene. Since 4 has come out there has been several balance changes made to the roster and much more character are viable. Smash 4 is worth the price of a Wii U console if you like the series imo.

To be honest I don't care about the competitive hardcore mlg people lol I just enjoy playing with my friends and using all the characters and what not. I hate how in Brawl there are cheap 1 shot items and smash icons and interactive levels. I don't know if 4 changed any of tjat

I'd put the new one on the level of melee. Not quite as fast paced but overall quality is just as good. In my opinion anyway.
