I'm a damn diva and I wanna be sexy

YO. I'm tired of looking like a scrub with the small list of remotely good looking armor. The shaders thing? Good concept, kinda shoddy though. Here's my humble suggestion regarding the general topic of "glamour" within the game: I really like FFXIV's glamour system. Essentially, you "infuse" Gear Piece A with Gear Piece B, causing A to take the appearance of B, while A retains its stats/level. (334 Iron Camelot Cloak, glamoured with 280 Taniks Cloak === 334 Iron Camelot Cloak with the appearance of the Taniks Cloak.) -Glamour only works with 2 items that you physically possess in your inventory. You can't glamour something you see at a vendor or another player's load out. However, once glamour is cast, it isn't necessary to keep the item used for glamour in your inventory and may be stored in the vault or even deleted. Example: B is used to glamour A, I can now discard B or store it if I choose. -Using glamor costs _________stacks of a particular consumable which is respective to each type of gear (i.e., glamouring X helmet with Y helmet costs $A glimmer + 30 Relic Iron) -You can only glamor items with items that your character is able to equip. You have to meet the proper level, class, etc of the item you wish to wear & the item you wish to infuse for glamour. A hunter wouldn't be able to glamour his armor to give it the appearance of Titan armor. Furthermore, a light lvl 315 player wouldn't be able to cast glamour using any gear exceeding 315. -Glamour is an ability; it is "cast" on an item in your inventory. To reverse the effects of glamour on an item, a consumable is used. -Glamour is unlocked through reaching the max character/item level and completing an end-game side quest. So, as a broad example: Say I'm a hunter with a 335 cloak. I think my 335 cloak is fugly, and the Speaker sells cool colorful cloaks but they're only lvl 280. I buy his cloak & it is now in my inventory. I "cast" glamour on my fugly 335 cloak, and when prompted to choose which of my inventory items to use as glamour infusion fuel, I would here choose the speaker's colorful 280 cloak that I bought. End result - I have a 335 cloak that is now colorful and not fugly. Using this glamour system (at least in FFXIV) opened up a world of customization options and individualized aesthetic expression. TBH, a lot of low level items in the game look better than some of the legendaries. This system would allow us to flaunt our sassy vanity without compromising our level. Or we can all keep wearing the same 10 cloaks and look like a bunch of squares who can't coordinate outfits together. Edit: words
