Fortunately my Thesans all have accelerated coils so they're easier to use, but otherwise yeah I agree. Plus if I die when my fusion goes off the rounds disappear while buckshot from a shotgun sure as hell doesn't.

I have one that I can choose between accelerated coils or braced frame. I tend to rock the braced frame and just lead the target a little to compensate. Probably my second favorite legendary fusion rifle.
