Please just don't. It's ridiculously childish. I have a friend who does this and I'm embarrassed to be seen with him when he does it.
Just win, or lose.
Repeat.
Wow! It seems that umm, everyone sends mail. Good lord.
When I was playing COD I never saw a single message. But in Destiny we are sending messages all the time. Wonder why that is.

Got a voice message from some kid of them literally screaming into the microphone. Just reported it and went on with my day. If you get mad enough to scream bloody murder into your mic you shouldn't play this game..
-
I've been chat banned one to many times on Xbox live for roasting kids who send hate mail. Not interested anymore ;)
-
I only send gg

Edited by rtopz: 7/4/2016 11:56:12 PMOnly time i sent a message was to red bar god telling him/her that their whole team was red barring and lagging all over the place. Def not hate mail cause that's childish. The red barring is beyond real and very annoying. Pretty much they shouldn't let any red bars into a game other than with other red bars...I dont want to ever play a consistent red or yellow bar. You're telling me they don't have stats on this stuff? They have stats on everything in the game....
-
I always send good game messages to the top player that squashed me or that I squashed. We should give props to good games.
-
I reply to hate with video of the score
-
I send hate mail all the time, even if I win. I like to spread negativity in the destiny community it's my favorite thing to do. (I'm not even joking)
-
I receive a lot :/
-
I just got one telling me my name was offensive. I've had it for ten years and this guy starts crying about it today.
-
I got one in the inferno playlist...for watching my teammates backs. Didn't know that was the wrong thing to do.
-
no cause if you say a word that is a little bit demeaning on xbox one, the recipient who has his panties in a wad after it will report it and you lose chat privileges for a week.
-
Its the real reason to play pvp.
-
If you go 2 -14 you get a wtf scrubby from me
-
It's satisfying as hell! I want MORE hate! Send more! If I ever get one I laugh, knowing that I ticked a bitter fruit. Now, obviously if you play like a little ass, then yea you will rack up hate nails pretty quickly. That's why I play just normally, or at least try not to be too much of an ass. Then, if I ever occasionally run across these hate messages, it makes it a million times more satisfying. Think of it as a medal, a symbol of victory. I screenshot every hate message I get as a prideful thing.
-
I sent a message to a Titan after he failed to slam me twice asking if he praised the sun. I was over joyous to find out that he did indeed praise it.
-
I just say "bruh"
-
I rarely do it, but when I do it's purely for their reaction. A little hate and hilarity ensues.
-
Only time I sent hate mail is to a teammate for going 1-27 Like if you're going to be that shit, just stick to pve
-
I don't do it but I love receiving them

Edited by chickengoujohn93: 7/4/2016 7:43:52 PMI think red barring is being taken completely out of proportions and is being used as scapegoat for every death encountered in PvP instead of accepting it. Everyone in the match could be green bar and people will still blame lag. I've Raided with Red Bars and played PvP against Red Bars and everything works fine for the most part. I have witnessed first hand of being a Red Bar playing Destiny at my friends house and it appears to be a major hindrance for the offender as nothing registered for him and still got killed with ease. On my own internet I've been blamed for Lag before. I was absolutely destroying this one guy in Rumble and everyone was green bar. I got the customary hate message and lag was the topic. I obviously remembered this guy because he accounted for nearly 70% of my kills in the match so how could I not forget some of the encounters? The muppet missed the majority of his shots because I strafe and I seen them whizz past me including one of his Rocket Launcher shots without the G&H's perk which hit a wall behind me taking a tiny proportion of my shield as I was just outside the fatal blast radius. Any reason to not admit that they were completely outclassed in a particular instance. Also, there is too much word of mouth from the so called Destiny Youtubers and everyone hops on the bandwagon. They brand pretty much every Red Bar as those unkillable guys who snipe you through 16 walls from one point of the map to the other from your perspective. The uproar over skill based matchmaking was never about the lag and the red bars. It was used as sugarcoating in an attempt to protect precious K/Ds from the possibility of playing against people of a similar level/skill on a regular basis. For example, how would nKuch perform against another nKuch?
