I was worried about my hunter post-nerf because I loves me some trip mines.
Last night I got my very first ever Mark of the Unbroken with 18 kills.
Half of my kills were trip mines. The rest were Super, 1 Heavy (Tormods), and 3 Primary (First Curse). Not a single Special weapon kill.
No lagging. No camping. Fire team of two.
It was a really sweaty match and I was so in the zone I didn't realize I hadn't died until the match ended and the medal popped up.
Sorry for the brag, but I was so stoked. I have always wanted to get this medal and never thought it was achievable since this is my first PVP game.
This was more exciting to me than my first Gjallarhorn drop. :-)
Moments like this are why I love playing this game.
I play mostly solo but sometimes in a fire team of two, and my hunter has a lifetime 1.58KD. There are many people way better than me.
I just wanted to share a moment with y'all.
Bungie I forgive you for what you did to my gunslinger. I think it is going to be ok.
Edit:
Guess y'all are right - I hadn't thought about boosting. :-/ I never looked at the other teams stats and this hadn't crossed my mind.
I was just playing with my young clan mate to help her get to rank 5, so wasn't boosting intentionally.
So it wasn't a sweaty match but I was sweating at the end. Lol.
Thanks for keeping me honest. I can always count on the community of stats detectives.
I'm still happy about the medal. :-)

9 RepliesI checked ur team u played against kd and no one on other team has positive kd....there kds are .5 to .9...still cool that u got unbroken...checked ur recent games and seriously how do u get paired against terrible teams...ur last like 20 games all have been against negitive kd teams and a lot of .6 kd players...my last 20 games have players pretty much higher than my 1.22 kd...

Typically getting a"Mark of the unbroken" is a result of being matched against six horrible players. I'm certainly not trying to lessen your achievements. I would be proud of it. However, that is not a sweaty match. That is a good 'ol pub stompin

Well done bro.
