I want thorn back! I read all the grimoire, watched the YouTube videos and the story of the last word, rose and thorn imo are the best lore I've come across in the game but why bring the last word to year 2 but leave thorn in year 1? I've read the forums, heard people complain of dying from the op gun with poison and even die at the hands of it plenty of times myself but of all the weapons that 1 should've made it to year 2 in all its glory. Thorn wasn't some weapon you got lucky enough to get on a drop or be blessed by the cyptarch from an engram. Thorn had to be earned, a task I could not have completed with the help of my fireteam family [HoJ]. Since there's so much animosity over the weapon why can't we have something to offset it's poisoning effects.... like the artifact of Dredgen Yor? Or any set of armor. It can be a hidden or unlocked perk that should have to be earned by some questions story line. Why can't it be like that for all the weapons instead of nerfing everything? We spend all the time hunting and farming for weapons to have the become useless. If players are using certain shotguns as sniper rifles then make armor perks against shotgun from a certain distance. Let the armor balance the playing field out... isn't that what armor is supposed to do???
