I found Harry Potter references in Destiny
I may be late to the party on this one but I was looking through some warlock armor and found two Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone references.
Flamel Crest (Nicholas Flamel, creator of the Philosopher's Stone) and Azoth Bend "We did not create the Philosopher's Stone..."
Being a big Harry Potter and Destiny fan I got excited and I told my wife what I found. She said it was the nerdiest thing I've said all year. Haha

I have to give Bungie some credit. They don't just make up a lot of the stuff for this game. They delve deep into obscure history to find names for items.

3 RepliesI really don't mean to rain on your parade as I love Harry Potter as well but I believe the reference to be directed at the philosophers stone used in Alchemy. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philosopher%27s_stone Also Nicolas Flamel was a real French writer who supposedly created a real Stone. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicolas_Flamel Again I love Harry Potter but I also find this stuff fascinating.
