Titans, I think I have a solution to the Shoulder Charge dilemma. Can I get your opinions? (Poll)

I don't want to see you guys nerfed. However, with things the way they are now, the forum babies will begin to cry nerf on your Shoulder Charge which will restart the horrible domino effect that is, "Every class trying to nerf the other one".
My suggestion is a simple one. I don't want your perk nerfed but it's been abused lately. So I've been thinking of ways to balance it and finally hit me.
We don't need to nerf the target acquisition or the distance, we don't need a cool down timer, we don't need it to take up an energy charge, and we certainly don't need to stop 1hitKOing.
However, to stop another nerf war from happening would guys agree to putting a -1 Armor effect on Shoulder Charge?
It uses the same principal of the perk Blink, in that it has a -1 Recovery Stat attached to it.
This would stop Titans who are abusing it from just running around relying solely on SC, giving other Guardians a chance to stop them before they use it.
SC should be used I'm situations where you turn a corner and intercept a guardian who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
It shouldn't be used as a discount pseudo shotgun. You shouldn't be running up to an enemy Guardian who is 100yrds. away, with the intent that you're going to shoulder charge them, rather than use the guns in your hand.
So I'll ask again, to prevent another nerf war and for the sake of balance would you be okay with having a -1 Armor Stat attached to shoulder charge?
P.s. I think we should discuss all balance issues like this from now on. Rather than demanding a nerf on a perk or class, let's ask that class to negotiate with us and offer a solution to what our problem is and work it out that way until agreeable terms are met.

Edit: A fellow Guardian named COOKIEMONSTER79 has also suggested a -1 to Agility rather than Armor and I think that his suggestion would work just as well if not better than mine.

you dont want to see it nerfed, so you offer up suggestions on how to properly nerf it? And then warlock and hunters in the comments saying yea that seems fair! We have so little for that class and more will be taken away because of the sand in your pussies. Then after that happens you'll want skating taken out cause "titans are tanks". Then armor of light light needs to be adjusted so i can have a chance to kill us in our bubble and hammers shouldn't be a ohk super. Please -blam!- off.

Agility will not affect sprint speed but it will allow for higher jumps -1 armour is around about -4 hp. Dont think thats enough tbh A good nerf will allow it to be used with consistency however it would prevent players from maining it.

Fine if it stops the salty huntards and whorelocks from crying, but arc armor grants +1 armor so it will compensate for it anyway lol.

Shoulder charge is not much different than a rushing shotgunner.

If you get hit by a sc from like 100 yards away when you can clearly see it coming then i think you deserve to be killed by said titan.

Then, we can also add "Last Stand" from Call Of Duty where after you lose a gunfight you have the chance to still kill your attacker. That would be fantastic! Oh and we can go ahead and nerf a few more classes of "OP" weapons again. Hopefully you have realized that this is satire. The shoulder charge is a HIGH-RISK melee attack. Stikers have a terrible normal melee range, and only one grenade with consistent use (lightning grenade). The shoulder charge can be avoided EASILY by players aware of their surroundings with at least half-decent gunskill. The more that the community jumps from one class ability or weapon to another requesting nerfs.....the more crucible is a campy mess. I'm not trying to be a jerk OP, but crucible was WAY more fun during both the crazy Thorn/Last Word & the Pulse Rifle Metas. Now everyone camps with snipers, or they are afraid to actually get in a primary gunfight.

Edited by Kwips: 6/19/2016 8:01:28 AMI think this is a great idea, and a fair one but i have another to consider, earlier when i was playing i got shoulder charged by a titan, and im not kidding when i say when he used it, the games auto aim made him turn 60 degrees and also RISE up 10 feet of elevation, and then hit me. that motherfather must of pulled 30 g's doing that shit. all i want is it to require more accuracy to hit with, like once you use it the second the button is hit, you go straight the direction you were looking an nowhere else, making players here are supposed to be agile like hunters actually able to dodge it, that is all i ask

How bout it loses its ability to aim straight up. I can tell you how many time I've jump over one only to have him head butt my feet and kill me. Leave everything as is just a simple need to its auto aim.

It requires positional awareness and a wind up before you're able to use it, even then you're able to be killed during the animation and you're unable to kill the highest armour targets, leaving you open for a counter attack. If you're kill by shoulder charge, it's usually because you came around a corner at the wrong time, i think we should just leave it as is.
