Please have a DMR that isn't complete shit.
(referring to the semi-auto AR, not the sniper rifle one, that one was fine)

Thought you were referring to the longbow for a second. That weapon was bae
-
That one was fine. It fit its role well. The G2 seemed like they just wanted to throw in a non automatic rifle but didn't exactly know what role they wanted it to fill.
-
I agree, it's just overshadowed by the dmr in every way, there's no point in using it. Sad, sad weapon.
-
The G2A4?
-
Yea that one. The amped one was great, any other was pretty awful. The AR stomped on it (well, in the beginning the AR stomped on abso-*******-lutely everything) and so did the Sniper one. There was no reason to use it. I felt like I was shooting marshmallows.
-
Use the Hemlok instead, since it's burst fire it does more damage and was actually intended for long range. The G2A4 was meant for skilled players who could headshot at close range.

Edited by SeneschalGrigori: 6/15/2016 7:27:12 PMI used the Hemlock as well. Actually loved it with starburst. The logic for using a marksman rifle for close range though eludes me though.... By the time they get up close you were getting mowed down by AR, CAR, and upgraded SMG fire. A Marksman rifle isn't meant for a SMG role. (Unless it's the MW3 MK-14. Oh the tears I've caused with that sexy ass weapon)
-
It does pretty massive Headshot damage. When I tried it I could only kill in CQC with headshots.
-
Still, it's a marksman. Having to get in CQC with with an semi-auto "baby sniper" is asinine. Especially when going against stuff like the post patched SMG and the counterwieght CAR while the user is using run & gun.
-
I honestly thought it didn't need to be in game, so it's probably removed.
-
They should keep it TBH and it needs some sort of buff. Due to the high speed of pilots and it's low rate of fire it should do devastating damage. Especially when said high speed pilot is spraying bullet hoses at you.
