Do I want old gen to continually be supported? Of course...I have a PS3, don't have the means to go buy a ps4. And buying a new dlc/expansion every 6-8 months is manageable.
Would be a hypocrite to say otherwise.
Ya...Guess that's all I can really say.
I want to be able to play ROI, but unless bungie makes it so that it rolls all previous expansions into a reasonable value bundle and that I can budget in a ps4, I may just be shit outta luck

Edited by GrundleBeans: 6/15/2016 4:24:22 AMI believe you have a free download of everything you've bought to PS4 by sometime in August (have to look up the exact date) if you paid for the digital versions. You would only need to buy TTK and ROI, (or a bundle if they add that as an option soon). As for a console, you can get one for as low as $200 used/refurbished at GameStop. You've got 3 months and a week to do it, which is $31 every 2 week paycheck. You can buy the TTK Legendary bundle on sale for around $25, maybe less by the time ROI comes out. That's $255 to get everything you need, which is $40/paycheck. Can't afford that much per paycheck? Start cutting/reducing things out of your spending you don't need and/or budget for 4-5 months instead of 3.

Agreed I don't mind paying for a new console at the end of this ones supported period. But I do mind having to pay for the game again. Simply because I bought it piece by piece. The only hand out I am asking for is the software I already paid for to transfer at least but they wont even do that unless you bought the legendary edition. Later down the line. That is reason to make a fuss. Peoples opinions seem to count when it comes to changing the game and nerfing stuff. So why not distribution tactics that pee on 10% of your customers for no real reason other than speeding the assimilation of platform variety.

Edited by GrundleBeans: 6/15/2016 4:31:08 AMYeah it sounds annoying, but when you buy a car that's a whole generation newer than your current one and all the parts are different, you don't get to take all the nice parts you had with the old car and stick them into the new one, do you? At least not for free. Right now you can get the Legendary edition for $30 or less. If you have disks up to now, you can trade all that in and pay even less for the Legendary edition. Maybe even end up breaking even. If you turned in other games you no longer play, you could actually make a profit. Most cross-platform games have no upgrade/transfer option whatsoever, so count yourselves lucky you have any options at all.
