Hope this "year 3" gjallahorn is nerfed like the original
Year 1 player here, had a Gally, and loved it but never leaned on it. Now that they're bringing it back truly upsets me since they ruined a true exotic, one that was truly a struggle to get by offering it up a month before TTK was released, and nerfing it.
And now they're offering it up? No, not to mention the year 2 scrubs asking for it to be it's pre nerf powerhouse that it was? Unacceptable.
So I hope this latest gjallahorn is nothing more than a regular legendary rocket launcher, so only those from year 1 can remember it's true power.

I know for a Fact it's going to be nerfed because all the little crybaby's who don't have it then get beaten down by it that can't take it when they die by a weapon They don't have, will come to the forum like they always do and cry demanding Bungie Nerf it into the ground it never fails.

Do you know how this works? The Iron Gjallarhorn is a quest item. So no, they are not "giving it out", and it most certainly won't be legendary.

I'm torn on this. Part of me wants the beast back in all of its glory. The other part of me knows they'll be too many people requiring it/kicking people for not using it. It's been refreshing not seeing everyone use the same weapons in pve. However, gally was one of the few TRUE exotics. It's rarity alone was great. Nerfherders and over zealous players ruined many a good weapon. We need some real power house tools at our disposal. Tldr, I'm good either way.

It will be the same one we have now, with higher light and possibly in black. Or maybe not. "Black Suros" had a little extra spin on it. But in terms of DPS it'll be what it is now.

Edited by TheBalParkFrank: 6/10/2016 5:39:28 PMThe old one is still strong but the year 3 one will never be comparable to the year 1 version of it... and the problem is unless there are mechanics similar to crota or vog raid where you just need to bomb the boss... a machine gun will still outshine rockets... will still be fun to rip appart strike bosses with it tho and solar burn nightfall will be a joke
