RIP BerserkerBarage
Today we have lost a long time community member. After battling an infection for about a week he awoke this morning with a heavy fever and shortness of breath. He was admitted this morning to the hospital. A short time later on he slipped away and they were unable to revive him.
Whether or not you hated him or loved him you at least knew where he stood on any topic you could find on these forums. Many of you will see that we have lost a long time community member. I myself have lost one of my closest friends. My thoughts go out to his wife and family.
I shall miss you my friend.

Wow. Thats just about all I can say. While I never knew him personally, I can say that he will be missed dearly by all of us who were lucky enough to witness his presence on the forums. R.I.P buddy. We'll miss you.

Oh my god. I'm really, really going to miss him. Barely knew the guy, but played with him a few times and shared a bond with him through my title here for a short time, but wow. I really don't know what to say or how to say it. My sincerest condolences go out to anyone who knew him as a friend or as a loved one. That really, really sucks. But hey, I'm sure he'll be happy with his Halo up there. I hope so. ~B.B.

I didnt know him, but I know what loss feels like after my parents passed away. The posts left by his friends brought tears to my eyes. It sucks so much to loose someone in you life that you cant put words to it. I give my best to his friends and family. RIP BB Sqweesh [Edited on 02.28.2010 2:12 AM PST]

While I never truly agreed with his views on a number of things, I always respected what he said and on numerous occasion found myself clicking on a thread he had posted in just to see what he had to say. Seems different now that an active, and long standing member of the community... just isn't here anymore... RIP BerserkerBarage I may not like the whole 'signing posts' but it just seems insignificant... ~B.B.

Wow, I'm speachless.. I had saw him on the forums for years, on a daily basis. I even had been fortunant enough to be in line with him at PAX. I definitely looked up to him as a respected Bnet member. I looked forward to his comments, to his threads, and his well respected posts. He always followed the rules, and never got off topic. I only wish I could follow in his footsteps, and be even at least half as good of a man he was. You [i]will[/i] be missed. MIA: ~B.B

Rest in peace, and my thoughts and prayers go to BerserkerBarage's family and friends. I know what it is like to lose a good friend from a disease, even if I am only young, and it is an experience that is not pleasant. I hope everyone affected is okay, and I am really really sorry for your loss. Even though he has passed through this life, it is not the end as we all know. Although I don't know him personally, he sounded like an awesome guy who will live in Bungie.net and our minds forever, no matter where he is now. :'( I hope this comment brings comfort to all...
