• Like the first game, it seems to focus on PVE and Pvp is a tack on. DS 2 for all it's complaints was the most PvP focused.

 • Let's talk about how semi-intelligent gun spam is almost impossible to counter. And then there are one-shot visceral attacks... Also, the Rakuyo exists.

 • Awe did you not like being punished for roll spamming or panic healing Lol one weapon gave you trouble Cute None of the weapons are even close to be as quick or deadly as bloodbornes

 • Huh? No, I never really spammed the quickstep all that much, and healing wasn't really my thing. Of course the Rakuyo gave me trouble. It does about the same damage as a Logarius Wheel but is much faster and has phantom range and hyperarmor. It's a blatantly overpowered weapon, even though, yes, it could be countered. I can't say the same about gun spam.

 • Lol guns were only an issue if you panic healed Which it appears you did Ds3 needs to have the same mechanic to punish chuggers

 • No, gun spam was an issue if you tried attacking the opponent at anytime ever. There was no real counterplay other than hope they -blam!- up their parry timing long enough for you to kill them, because if they got one lucky parry off it was gg. Dark Souls 2 had the better mechanic of estus locking you in place for a longer period and only healing over time and not instantly. Chugging in front of any decently competent playing in Dark Souls 2 was a death sentence.

 • Not saying Dark Souls 3 doesn't have the same problem with one shot ripostes, because it sure as hell does. Though, at least its possible to punish a failed parry attempt by going for a backstab after they whif the parry.

 • Not necessary or even all that relevant in Dark Souls 3. Simply changing up your timings, two-handing an ultra weapon, or going for a backstab is sufficient to avoid parries in this game.

 • You're the one complaining about the parries So take your own advice then if you don't want mine

 • Never played BB but I saw the whole infinite dashing and who could hit harder show. Too much poise is a bad thing as well as fast heals. It made me appreciate souls a little more

 • LOL Bloodborne punished people for rolling/side stepping as well as healing You could chuck a throwing knife and cancel out their heal Also weapons were much faster as well as their combos Ds3 it's so easy to just run and heal Plus getting hit doesn't cancel out the health regain from flasks Just another souls game where pvp was an after thought but they decided to tack on invasions for the hell of it

 • I'm glad PvP wasn't their primary focus. That way it didn't become Destiny souls. Looking all lost, dazed and confused. Am I PvP? Or PvE? Do I just have nice looking environments? Or is there substance with this flair? Ds3 is unabashedly PvE based. Which it should be. PvP is still handled well and is fairly swell. That carthus ring is a minor annoyance, the dark sword R1 is easily defeated by having a big shield on hand, and a good amount of End. Parrying isn't that big of a deal unless you've never encountered it. Healing.... is fine. If you get them right, you can backstab or stagger them while they're in the animation which allows you to negate the estus or kill them outright.
The seeds of the giant tree are pretty fun to use against pesky hiding or baiting invaders. And adds a whole other dimension to the game.
It seems like you're just infatuated with Bloodborne's system, which is fine, they had their own gig. But don't say the PvP in DS3 is fuсked because you can't be bothered to adapt to changes.

 • Lol k kiddo let's break this down Dark souls 3 pvp was half assed and tacked on to an already lack luster game Yes it was marketed as a pve game, Yet it has more pvp aspects than BB or previous souls titles The only thing missing is a dedicated arena Which players have already created on their own Learn to adapt huh You mean use estoc and spam r1 lol k Try to defend your broken game more please

 •
Lol k kiddo let's break this down Dark souls 3 pvp was half assed and tacked on to an already lack luster game
Dark Souls 3 was a fantastic game, with rich graphics, swanky npcs, terrific boss fights and some pretty fantastic lore. It's like a better version of Dark Souls.
Yes it was marketed as a pve game, Yet it has more pvp aspects than BB or previous souls titles The only thing missing is a dedicated arena Which players have already created on their own
Right. It was marketed as a PvE.... because it is. If you were looking for a PvP, take a gander at Battlefield, overwatch, COD. Seeing as how it's the latest game, it would make sense that they responded to the wishes of the fanbase for PvP aspects. Especially since they were key in the longevity of the other games. The arena thing would be cool, and I think Artorias of the Abyss had something similar didn't it?
. Learn to adapt huh You mean use estoc and spam r1 lol k Try to defend your broken game more please
No, I mean you learn to counter. If one thing is getting you, make a build capable of countering it. Consider it another boss and go about finding its weak points and how to exploit them. I've never had a problem with estoc R1. I've used either the Dancer swords or Dragonslayers greatshield/firelink sword or Dragonslayers greataxe. And maybe two out of twenty people have beat meme with that method. And they took advantage of the environment. What's the phrase?
Git gud
I compared games centered around PvP to a game around PvE. And suggested that if you wanted A. Maybe B.isn't a good fit. Go you. It's "git gud" actually. You messed up twice. Destiny stats. Ooooh. I was never a big PvP guy. I played a lot with friends and messed around with shit weapons. But if you want to continue and expand Ad Hominem, feel free. Feel free. Seems like a lot of work just to trash someone. But it isn't my five minutes spend scouring an account
Also, by your logic. Since destiny is a shooter. My stats do not correlate to an rpg. But... whatever
