Unfortunately the uncharted series is one that has illuded me, mostly due to other things coming out. I've heard awesome things, and have been watching a play through of 4. It looks like a lot of fun

Why did you watch a play through. Now you ruined the game for yourself if you are ever going to play it.

More out of curiosity, there are some games that after watching a play through it ruins the experience. But to be honest even though I'm familiar with the story, I would still consider buying it down the road just because it would still be fun to experience it first hand

Play the first 3 before 4 if you want the real Uncharted experience. It is one of the best series ever made.

Played 1-3 couple months ago, they weren't bad by any means, I liked the story despite how easily I predicted all of it so far. But each game I beat once and have yet to even start them up again. U4 mp beta to me is essentially assassins creed mp, it's not gripping it's just there so they can say they have mp. Then again uncharted is really only about its single player, nobody will buy it or stick around with it for the mp. I can't justify buying it rn though for $60 when I am 99% sure I'll beat it once and set it aside. Even if that once is good, I'll wait til it's much cheaper. Plus I'm probably picking up DOOM today.
