Zanzalot: The Quest For The Golden Grunt- Comedy Fanfic- Please Read
The tiltle of this came from Zanzibar (multiplayer level) and the fact that I love medieval stuff, hence Camelot. Zanzibar+Camelot=Zanzalot
Chapter One-Zanzalot?
Private Smith stepped out of the warthog onto a beach he had never seen until today, in fact, the last time someone saw this beach was 550 years ago. He knew, however, where he was. "Zanzalot!", he exclaimed to the other marines. "We're on Zanzalot Beach!"
"Zanzalot Beach?", questioned Private Maroonis, "you mean THE Zanzalot Beach? The Zanzalot Beach from the storybooks?"
"Indeed I do Maroonis!", said Smith, "and do you remember the stories about the one creature who inhabits Zanzalot?"
Maroonis stared at Smith for a moment then yelled, "The Golden Grunt! But I thought the Golden Grunt was an artifact, not a living creature."
"True, it is a statue, I just think it makes the story sound more exciting if I refer to it as a creature.", said Smith.
"Oh, right then.", said Maroonis, "but are we here to do what I think we are here to do?"
"We certainly are, Maroonis", said smith excitedly, "we're here to find the Golden Grunt!"
"Oh, I thought we here to go sight-seeing, but that works too."
"Let's go men!", shouted Smith to the other marines, "we've got a statue to find!"
