The golden gun doesn't feel so special anymore because it is so short for the timer

The only way I find it useful is with celestial nighthawk, which it turns out does more damage than a precision shot from a sleeper stimulant on bosses.

is it just me or did they disable the golden gun precision damage on some bosses? pretty sure i don't get yellow hit markers on theosyian or sepiks. haven't checked the rest

I don't think gg does any precision damage...

oh damn, you're right. not sure why i thought it did. still kinda new to hunter stuff.

In PvE, tanks are actually effected by where you shoot them with your GG. (legs do the most but you can't shoot their crit. spot)
