House of Angels: Missions 4-5

Mission Four: Prime Secrets [i]Follow the Angels' Prime to the Endless Steps, which the Angels have begun digging at.[/i] [spoiler][i]You start in Campus 9, and make your way to the Endless Steps. Halfway through, Vex start appearing from the Gates.[/i] Ghost: "Oh, great." Variks: "Vex machines! Kill them fast!" [i]After deactivating the Gates again and killing the Vex, just before you reach the Gate a cutscene plays: An Angel Vandal is seen standing near the Plate. His left leg looks like it's Vex-made, and his right forearm and hand do as well. He looks side to side, then holsters his Shock Rifle. Ghost, whispering: "Wait... that vandal doesn't have all of his parts. That's a Splicer! His limbs have been replaced with Vex parts. Oh no..." The Vandal then realizes your presence. He immediately tries to fire his weapon at you, but it somehow jams. Then, you try firing at him, to no avail. Your weapons have jammed too.[/i] Ghost: "What's going on? Our weapons aren't working! I'll try to fix it, just give me time!" [i]You now have to fight the Vandal with only your melee, or a Sword. After he is dead...[/i] Ghost: "Alright, not only have I fixed your weapons, I've given them a refill too. You're welcome. Now, what was with that Vandal? You'd think the other Houses would've taken the hint after what happened with the Devils." [i]You are then prompted to proceed along the same path as the Echo Chamber, eventually entering the room where Theosyion was. Just before entering, you see a large shadow, which leaves in a bright flash of light. Upon entering the room, you see there a few groups of confused, spliced Fallen. Another bright flash, then you see the Paladin.[/i] Ghost: "There's the Paladin! Take him down!" [i]The Paladin immediately tries to gun you down for ten seconds, then stops firing to cool his Scorch Minigun down. During this window, you will be able to deal a lot of damage to him before he fires at you normally. After he loses half his health, he will become immune and talk into his comms, then teleport away.[/i] Variks: "On the comm was Iksun, said Paladin needed back at Lair, for important assignment. Become Arch-Paladin." [i]And with that, the mission ends.[/i][/spoiler] Mission 5: A Kell Rising [i]With the Angel Kell defeated, a bold Baroness attempts to take his place.[/i] [spoiler][i]You start in front of the Angels' Lair.[/i] Ghost: "So, it seems as if there's a contender for Iksun's throne. I'd recommend we not go through this again, so let's take her out." [i]Once inside the Lair, you go into Hub 003, then move to Hub 001, then to Hub 002. Once there, you'll find Derriss, Angel Baroness. Initially, she will use Shock Swords in her upper arms, and Shock Daggers in her lower. With her is Linuk-18, a microservitor that fires Void beams in short bursts. It simply floats around her and fires at you when Derriss is at distance. Once Derriss is at 1/2 health, she will sheath her blades and grab two Shock Rifles, and two Shock Pistols. The Shock Rifles are in her upper arms, the Shock Pistols are in her lower. Linuk-18 also gets upgraded, firing miniature Servitor blasts that deal around half the normal damage. Linuk-18 will now stop following Derriss and will now roam the room as well, with you now being able to destroy it. Should you destroy Linuk-18 before Derriss has been killed, she will growl, roar and then become Enraged. Her damage and firerate, at this point, is doubled. You will also gain the chance to obtain the Angel Shell. Should Derriss die before Linuk-18, you will get a chance at getting Derriss' Helmet.[/i] Ghost: "Well done! The House of Angels has been set back another leader. Her Servitor was very unique... maybe, due to its size, it was perhaps her version of a Ghost?"[/spoiler]
