No friends = no 335 level gear?
I was looking forward to the Spring update. I recently read from a few different sources, that the Prison of Elders arena, where players will be earning 335 level gear will not support matchmaking? Unfortunately for me, I do not have any friends who play Destiny. This is a HUGE disappointment ...I refuse to outsource the games inability to form fireteams. Thanks anyway Bungie.

15 RepliesI don't see the problem with giving players more options, including matchmaking. Playing with randoms in trials and raids might seem more difficult....but so what? Why not give players the option to choose?

Not kidding, you need 0 friends for this update... it's faster with friends but my friend was doing the 42 last night while 2 of us were at the reef getting stuff... we loaded in on the last round. When we were done he was like "really, that's it?". I imagine they'll change it since everyone on the forums are practically screaming at the top of their lungs about it... so hurry, before it becomes Skolas status!

If you play on 360 I can help with that. Also it's not that hard. You can solo it

Trade the game in and get a one player game. The high LL stuff will always need groups and Bungie really is not a fan of matchmaking.

Well what system are you on? If it's ps4 add Admiral-Sabree I'll run it with you. Its super easy this week with small arms.

I am going to assume you are an above average skilled player. Poe is so easy. You don't understand he easy it is. I was yelling that's how bad it was. You can probably solo it.

2 RepliesMy question, an not necessarily trying to be an a-hole by saying this, but at what point has destiny ever offered highest level gear for matchmade events? It has literally been this way since day one of year one. Read a review for god's sake.

11 RepliesNo 335 gear from Poe did it for 12 hours straight and most of the time got nothing and when I did I got a 315 ghost and some blue 312

4 RepliesEdited by Toshibo187: 4/12/2016 7:40:53 AMYou can get gear if you play solo Strike specific stuff can be 335 drops: -helm and heavy from the saber strike -primary and gauntlets from shield brothers -primary and class items from psions/undying mind/omnigul -special from the new strikes -iron banner you can get all gear with the LV.5 package -335 artefact from court of oryx -weekly shaxx bounties can give gear up to 335 -exotic engrams will guarantee to decrypt at least 1 light above your current light level....example: You are LV.322 and you decrypt a leg piece,that leg piece is at least 323 light but can be higher And with the new 1:1 infuse system you will not loss progress A solo player can reach max level but it takes much longer Sorry for the bad English

Dude, its not a challenge, you can solo it. Me and a buddy 2 manned to the last boss before another friend randomly jumped in and even with just 2 of us it was easy. Could have done it alone.

It's very solo able I did it until some one joined.

I love how no one besides me tries to solo PoE. I soloed the vex boss, but then 2 people joined in during the taken battle so I just went with it, changed it up a bit... Try to solo, its a lot of fun and it gives people a greater challenge. I honestly wish more things were solo-able, such as the weekly heroic, trials of Osiris, ect... I wish everything had OPTIONAL matchmaking.

And if you havent noticed, everyone on destiny has friends, i they dont ell then they find randoms and make new friends. You need to go make some friends or sell the game, and dont make some b.s excuse saying you have some sort of disorder or depression crap, cause if you do you wouldnt make this idiotic post in the first place, you would be crying about the lack of no friends. Its 2016, go outside and meet new people. You guys just need matchmaking for literally everything dont you? its that hard to make friends???

All my friends quitted and I really hate lfg. MUST BE 3000 LIGHT AND HAVE FULL CONTROL OF THE FORCE etc.....
