I recently played Pokemon: Firered and I recently realized how amazing Jigglypuff is. Now hey don't get me wrong, the legendaries are better stat wise, so is a ton of other pokemon. Let's face it, Jigglypuff doesn't have the best stats. The thing is it's widely misunderstood. Many misunderstand the TRUE power.
My Jigglypuff is lv. 97.
ATTACKS
Sing. Rest. Double Team. Focus punch.
That my friends is the perfect pokemon.
This is what you do, keep giving it Iron and Carbos it increase the speed and Defense stat, those are very important. Now here is how to use Jigglypuff wisely.
When you teach it focuspunch with a TM it's unstopable.
Use sing untill the opponent falls asleep, then keep using double team and keep using it until your evasivness is RIDICULOUSLY HIGH. This then makes it hard for the opponent to even TOUCH Jigglypuff, then use rest to heal up. Now use focus punch and dwindle him down, now if you become low on health, use rest. Seriously I beat my friends lv.100 Charizard, he was so surprised on how noobish it was.
Try it...Jigglypuff is amazing ;)

RAMIREZ TAKE OUT THAT JIGGLYPUFF WITH YOUR TACTICAL NUKE!
-
yo jiggilypuff you're great and I'ma let you finish but magikarp is the best underestimated pokemon of all time.
-
Posted by: Whirling Dervish or you could just level it up to 100 and evolve it into a wigglytuff so it's slightly better -_-
Yeah it's getting there to lv.100, but HELL NO! The point is to have Jigglypuff, have EVERYONE underestimate it, seriously think of the shame when a Jigglypuff of all things beats you? I must admit...Scizor is pretty good, that might actually work.
-
Jigglypuff sucks. The best Pokemon is Kirby, duh!
-
Yeah, I think it's safe to say that Jigglypuff isn't the best Pokemon ever. You lose, OP. :P
-
lvl 100 magicarp with focus sash and flail > jigglypuff
-
i stopped playing when i wasnt able to capture mewtwo. about 6 or 7 years ago maybe. <--first one was pokemon yellow
-
man it's all about mutha-blam!- scyther I mean the rest use magic and -blam!- but that mother-blam!- will cut you foo
Posted by: AsianNinja000 trust me. your Lv.100 Blastoise might get close, but rest would just bring me back up. You got no chance, only Zapdos, Mewtwo, and a Wobbafet has ever beaten it.
Scizor with technician ability and bullet punch. game over. [Edited on 01.07.2010 1:28 PM PST]

I almost forgot, anything with Taunt would prevent you from using any of your moves except for Focus Punch. And a Ghost-type would be immune to Focus Punch anyway.
-
What about ghost-types?

My lvl 100 Blastoise can kill your Jigglypuff
-
Sing has a crappy hit rate anyway, and there are moves that always hit you regardless of how many times you use Double Team.
-
Posted by: Whirling Dervish Agility? Isn't a stat. Also, it doesn't give you a better chance to hit. All it does is boost evasion which is a -blam!- thing to do.
heh, I'm thinking of a different skill. You'll still be able to kill it before he'll put you to sleep unless you have nothing but -blam!- attacks.
-
I remember in Leaf Green I had an Onix in the 70s... Actually kind of weak against attacks but still pretty cool. :)
Posted by: CANNON 117
Posted by: Fedilipocat Why Double Team?
Raises evasiveness and makes it a tremendous pain in the ass to hit an opponent that's stacked the effect a couple of times.
I had no idea it was that effective. I would've given it something super effective against fighting type pokemon. Well, actually i would've just made it invincible with cheats and stuff, then just catch the enemy trainers pokemon. Cheats rule.
