I think it would be nice, but it would need to be really expensive. I'm talking like 50-100 legendary marks for one re-roll. It might seem extreme, but then at least a little bit of the grinding aspect is preserved.

No way - what would be the point in bringing it back? I say it's 10 legendary marks for everyday in the guns smith. 10 = 1 day and one roll 70 = 7 days and option of 7 random rolls (like gunsmith rolls now)
-
The point of bringing it back would be to help get better rolls. But if it was this way, everyone would have 1kys with shortgaze and HH within 30 minutes of reforging being added

I already have it. I don't care for hidden hand..... This argument is pointless and there are way better perks. I use my pr4 more than the 1000 with hidden hand.

It is not an argument, it is an example. I know there are better perks and better weapons, that is just a popular combo that also receives hate. My main argument is that cheap reforging would take a lot away from the game. If you could re roll a lot, there would be no incentive to do any activities to get rewards. For example, you wouldn't need to do the weekly strikes and daily stories to save up marks to buy an engram. It would take away from so much playing time. And then we would have people complaining about it being to easy to get God rolled weapons as well as people complaining that there is nothing to do. It is a lose lose scenario. So I think reforging would be nice, but is must be expensive so that you still actually have to play the game.

First I understand it's not an argument but here is my opinion. Reforge added to the game. I played with countless weapons and made stuff to suit the task. My favorite was the fear rocket launcher I made to destroy skolas on arc burn week. It added to the game by bringing more options to the table rather than channeling players to use certain tools based on attributes and stats. Next - I have never bought an engram using legendary marks. A pointless exercise and rng stacked on top of rng makes it pointless, expensive and highly tedious (not to mention frustrating)

And you don't have everyone in the game going around with God roll shotguns. Or well, in this meta it'd be god roll thousand yard stares
