QUESTION ABOUT KABR
So I've got a question about lore in destiny and haven't seen any die hard evidence for any of the arguments. My question is, who was in Kabr's fire team.
I know that it was:
Kabr- Titan
Praedyth- Warlock
Pahanin- Hunter
The rest I don't know. I've heard arguments for Osiris, but they don't really hold water because of his likely being alive still, and the only one recorded to have managed to escape was Pahanin, who later went on to create the super good advice because he wanted a weapon that had a smart AI that could observe his existence and record what happened if he too was lost in time and that way if he and his gun were discovered there would be a record of his experiences. I've also heard of the possibility of Roland, but I find it doubtful as he is so enveloped with the hive. A more likely story would be that a possible fire team member could have been the Exo stranger, as she has so much to do with time travel and a mild obsession with hating the vex. She also could be an important stepping stone to the vanguards understanding of time. If she was lost in the corners of time and was somehow able to find her way out, as she is an exo so she does not share the flaws that humans and the awoken have, such as a lack of persistence to get out. If she found her way out, there is no saying it would have been in the same time as ours, and would likely have been in the future.
TL;DR the most likely candidate I've heard as of yet is the exo stranger, and probably not Osiris, almost definitely not toland.

A lot of what I've gone over never says who else was on the team besides the possibility of Osiris, but I have noticed that most of the material says "Strike team". That makes me think that, since strikes are 3-man groups, and raids are 6-man, they only went in with the three of them, and they weren't prepared for what was in there.

3 RepliesThe Exo is not and never was a guardian. She is something else. There is no evidence any more than those three went in (Kabr, Praedyth, Pahanin)

3 RepliesNobody. In Kabr's time, fireteams were of only 3 people. Pahanin Errata, being the only survivor, brought back news to the vanguard, and that was when the decision for 6 person raids was made.

1 ReplyThe stranger is most likely an agent of the nine. The Nine are suspected to be the Jovians who have evolved to live amongst the darkness even more so than the awoken. They are probably descendants of the golden age humans who made it beyond the reef and set up shop on the moons of Jupiter. Keep in mind this is all speculation on my part based on some lore posts and bits of grimoire I've read.

5 RepliesSince the stranger said she was not born in light. I would think she has a bit of a dredgen yor situation goin on if she was a guardian before. Her name may be one of the three on the list. But once the Vex got a hold of her. The darkness set in. She caved and became who we now only know as the stranger.

Just those three as far as history is aware of. Kabr still exists as the Aegis in a way. Pahanin escaped. And Preadyth was lost to the timestream. If there were anymore than those three, they were fully erased from time and existence and history cannot remember them.

Exo stranger is NOT a guardian, and was not in his team.

16 RepliesOsiris was part of the team due to the armour: Tread of the Hezen Lords. Toland** was part of the fireteam that went with Eris to the moon and to find Crota. Kabr was consumed by the vault itself but he created the relics to leave a remnant of himself and for any other guardian who dared to enter the vault again to defend themselves. Now Praedyth is the odd one in the group because we learn about what really happened to him or what the vanguard has speculated even though we hear his voice and he says he lived. "His fall has not happened yet, and will happen again." Is it madness? Im not entirely sure. Pahanian is the one who constructed SGA and witnessed Kabr fall, so perhaps he is going to go mad? You can find any sort of lore you need on Reddit or directly message some like Anonpig who knows just about everything. I tried my best there! Hope it helped you

1 ReplyThey went to Osiris, but Osiris did not help them. There was a group of renegade guardians that are referenced on a hunter cloak that went with them. It is also referenced in the lore.

Probably the one that fits in best or can must easily do so with vague reason. I vote the R.E.G.I.S. Mk. 5. And we should go to the Tomb of Sivar. If you want a lore question, you should look up why women can't use a nanosuit.

It's not Osiris, he inspired the expedition but didn't participate. We can't know for certain that there even where any others (there's no proof that it was a team of 6) But if there were they have been forgotten, Pahanin escaped but forgot about Praedyth, therefore if the others were completely erased Praedyth might not have any memories of them either Sadly there's no telling how many Guardians were lost to the Vault, it could be hundreds, whole teams lost without us ever knowing. That being said, we can rule out existing characters because they are remembered

Kabr's fireteam was only the 3 of them from what I understand. The Vanguard instituted the 6 man fireteam after losing Kabr's team in the Vault of Glass.

4 RepliesRaids weren't a thing when they went in. They most likely went into the vault as a fireteam of 3 expecting a strike mission.

One more thing, exo stranger could not be part of his team because she was said to be from the future or an alternate universe and posses time travel but nothing more. The exo stranger was also not born in light so there is no real way she would have been associated with the vanguard. No real obsession with the vex she's more afraid of them then she is fascinated.
