My experience in the DZ last night was brilliant, there was a team of 4 guys going around killing people who were on their own (easy targets for scummy scrubs like that), but soon enough they got the attention of most people in the area who then teamed up and absolutely destroyed them. The best thing you can do is be on your mic, ask people if they need any help and if you see someone attempting to extract gear go and offer your help to cover them. That's what I've been doing, and when you bump into them later they'll remember that you're friendly and not attack you. It's all about communication. Also I called in an extraction, a few guys turned up because they had some gear they wanted to save, unfortunately for me they took up all of the bag slots on the chopper so there wasn't room for my stuff, but they all waited and covered me whilst I called in another chopper.

Well they did not give us the full name of the game: It is not just "The Division" it is "The Division of Assholes". First time going in I was killed right out of the gate. So enjoy The Dick Zone for PvP.

An NPC looter actually saved my life, I was trying to extract and someone was firing a sniper at me, the NPC heard it and showed up from behind the guy and beat him with a sledgehammer

Zoob and I and a couple other buddies found THE best spot to hole up in the DZ. It's so easy to lure people and then kill them. I hope it's still there in the full game.

I had about 10 minutes left before I had to get ready for work and it was my first time in the DZ. I didn't know what to do, so I went rogue and attacked a group of 4. I died almost instantly and gave up lol. I'll be back tomorrow

Me and my friends kill people who have loot, then hide in the map edges for us to no longer be rogue.

No mercy for the weak. I mean come on, when there's 5 people extracting loot how do you expect me to [b]not[/b] throw that grenade? It's just so tempting.

The Dark Zone should just be renamed to "Deathmatch", cause that's all it is. I was running further in when it the weather got pretty bad and it was a blizzard and incredibly difficult to see anything and some random person sent me an inv and we ended up having a 3-man party. While it was fun and did find other like-minded players, the visibility gets so bad that you just can't tell the difference between a player and an NPC and if you accidently fired on another player that's not in your group, your entire group goes rogue instead of just the one player who did the shooting. But it at least gives you a warning if you accidently shoot a team mate while your firing at an enemy. Don't even bother trying to solo, you can't explore anything cause alot of players just sit and camp areas like the Subway or the EZ checkpoint as well as the Extraction Zone. I also don't like that your own team mates can steal any loot you drop if you've died. I can tell that joining a random team might have players abusing that, though my team mates always tried revive me. I sort've don't like that DZ has it's own leveling system as well as it's own currency outside the PvE one, so you can't just up and buy the rare items from the DZ vendor with the currency and level you have from the PvE side of the game. The game does have potential, roaming the blizzard area of the DZ was tense with the rest of the party, but Ubisoft really needs to make some changes to the loot and how it works with part members. It doesn't matter if your in a party or not, the loot drops don't work like Destiny or Warframe where the loot is shared, so everyone has a chance at getting something good. But no, in The Division, loot is first come, first serve even when within a party. It's best to play DZ with long time friends that you have who are interested in playing the game, that's the only way I can see The Division in it's current state be fun at all and help each other out with loot. I'm still going to get the game for PS4, not sure if I'll play it on PC, we'll see. If anyones interested in teaming up for DZ add me. I'm on PS4. The only other two games that have pinned my interested are Mirror's Edge: Catalyst and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, but those are not for a long time.

There are a lot of really nice people in the DZ, just be on your mic and help them out. My friend and I even paired up with another group of ransoms even though we were rogue and they weren't.
