I'm a crappy crucible player. I admit that up front. I can't outplay skilled players with a primary. A special weapon however is a one hit kill. (sniper or shotgun it doesn't matter which) In primary weapon vs special weapon 1v1 situations a special weapon is always a better choice. Most of the medium to low skilled players have figured this out and don't even bother with primary guns. For some reason people think this is dishonorable, or not the right way to play. Well the truth is that if I wanna win I have to use a special weapon. Most primary guns just don't cut it. There are only really two fixes to this. 1)make special ammo as rare as heavy ammo. (but as crimson doubles has proved people will find work arounds for this *cough icebreaker cough*) 2) make primary weapons more powerful. (This could lead to power creep with everything being 1 hit kills) Just so I'm clear I hate PvP and avoid it whenever i can. I have no desire to get better at it, because I don't want to play it. I will always pick PvE ways of doing stuff when possible. Ok let the hate mail begin!
