The Angelship: Final Checkpoint

Once enough damage has been dealt to the core, it will explode, starting the final battle. A cutscene will play, with Iksun becoming furious, equipping his jetpack and jumping down where the Walker was. He will roar, then grab the Shrapnel Launcher from his back. The first part of the fight will start out as a normal Archon-esque fight, with him teleporting, stomping, and firing at you. After Iksun's health is depleted 1/4, he will throw his Shrapnel Launcher at you. If it hits you, it will explode, dealing medium damage on impact and the explosion dealing enough damage to kill you. Now, he will grab all four of his weapons. At this point, if anyone on your team dies, a prompt at the bottom-left will say: [i]Iksun has become encouraged by your ally's death[/i] Once that prompt shows up, he will immediately try to charge at the nearest Guardian with his swords, or jump and slam on top of them until the dead Guardian is revived. He will occasionally jump into the air using his jetpack, then drop and slam the ground, causing a shockwave. The animation would be like when Valus Mau'ual does his slam, except Iksun will slam with his swords. This will happen until you have taken another 1/4 from his health. At this point, Iksun will roar at you, giving you the debuff "Intimidated" for 20 seconds, which makes you move slightly slower and deal 20% less damage. When this happens, adds will immediately enter the room and Iksun will shoot faster until Intimidated ends. Iksun will, at this point, jump back up to the balcony he dropped from and act as a sentry, firing at you from above. Here, you have to take out four Protector Shanks, which look like white-plated versions of the Sniper S.A.B.E.R.2 that deal Void damage and are shielding Iksun from any type of damage. The shield itself looks like a blue version of Crota's shield when he stands back up. After killing the Shanks, Iksun's shield will burst, staggering him and making him kneel. Here, he takes double damage, and for 10 seconds. If done right, he should now be at half health. If you fail to drain his health, Iksun will stand back up and the process will be repeated. If you fail the second time, he will send out a shockwave that will kill everyone on your team. At 1/2 health, Iksun will jump to the middle of the room, stand there completely stationary, and start to target random Guardians. Iksun will fire his Sniper cannons at you relentlessly, the cannons being able to rotate 360 degrees around him. Once he does this, adds will start pouring into the room. He will be in this state for around a minute, taking half damage throughout. After the phase has finished, he will target a player every twenty seconds and focus his attacks on them entirely. After taking another 1/4 from his health, he will become Enraged, jumping to the back of the room and constantly firing at everyone. Once he hits 1% health, he will fall to his knees, and keel over. Once Iksun is dead, the rewards chest will show up. Opening the chest will cause it to explode, killing anyone near it. Iksun, at this point, will get up and will start firing at everyone with his Sniper cannons, now not needing to charge. Along with the cannons firing, he will also be firing his Shrapnel Launchers as well. At this point, adds will flood the room. All that is left now is to finish Iksun off. Once his health has finally been fully drained, he will stumble, drop to his knees, then fall flat. Every enemy that was in the room will be instantly killed. After this, the real reward chest will spawn and you will get your loot from the fight. You will then receive a marker into the next area. In Hard Mode, you will still be able to revive your teammates, albeit with a minute-long wait rather than a thirty-second wait. Iksun's Sniper cannons will fire faster, and when he throws his Shrapnel Launcher, the actual impact will kill you, and the blast radius from its explosion will be larger. "Intimidated" will also last longer, with a slightly increased effect. Challenge: Do not give Iksun the "Encouraged" buff.
