•
Posted by: Swiftkillswitch3
Welcome to SPARTAN II training, pal; enjoy your deathly stay. No, seriously, the Spartan matches them in every way: they have an air purifier built-in to their armor, they can see in dark very damn well, have ninja-like (no pun intended) reflexes and lighting speeds. Plus, they're smaller, more agile and can operate any damn thing throw at them. I'm sorry to say this, but an SM looks like a human tank of metal and nothing more: slow, bulky, lame and very retarded. Spartan-II with an energy sword; fight over. More than an average are above seven feet tall encased in Titanium-ally armor. With that and the given examples above, they can jump an easy two or three meters, run up to 40KPH easily, withstand falls from orbit and be alive, gel embedded in the armor for cushion and supreme reflexes (300% faster than any Marine), it's a very good fight. Also, their bones are titanium based, giving their muscles more to use plus being surgically strengthened with the drugs. This is one helluva fight. I wouldn't fear the tank: I'd fear what I could do to him.
Here go, Wyld.
Somebody already responded to that. See?
they can see in dark very damn well,
Kas, from Prospero Burns, only saw blackness with his normal eye, but saw everything in a green hue. So, Space Marines can do so as well.
have ninja-like (no pun intended) reflexes and lighting speeds.
And Adeptus Astartes don't?
Plus, they're smaller, more agile and can operate any damn thing throw at them. I'm sorry to say this, but an SM looks like a human tank of metal and nothing more: slow, bulky, lame and very retarded.
Except a Space Marine is very fast, agile, impressive, and intelligent. I would laugh if you suggested that a Spartan looked any better than Space Marine.
Spartan-II with an energy sword; fight over.
Prove it. And even if you can, you still have the problem of the fact that Space Marie conventional weapons (read, conventional) can gut a Spartan in second. Also, plasma swords are not standard.
More than an average are above seven feet tall encased in Titanium-ally armor.
Oooh no, how scary- Do learn what you're talking about. That same titanium-alloy (ALLOY, not ALLY, Jesus) is damaged by low kilojoule Covenant plasma weapons. Adeptus Astartes power armor, on the other hand, can tank Tau single plasma rifle shots without much damage, which are capable of vaporizing a human torso. Giving it 50 megajoules of energy, I get a yield powerful enough to melt 44 kilograms of titanium.
With that and the given examples above, they can jump an easy two or three meters
Impressive, but inferior.
With a cry that rose from my stomach, I leapt into the air, reaching out with one hand above my head. I felt my fingers clasp the top lip of the stone, and I pulled, yanking my body up the rock face and flipping my legs over my head in a smooth arc. The ruddy, red light burst all around me as I cleared the rock-line and landed on top of the sandstone pavement. Instantly, my eyes scanned the sky and identified the distant, descending form of the gunship. Keeping my gaze fixed on the vessel, I started to run again, jumping and springing automatically over the wide cracks and crevices in the sloping ground. I made that jump like it was nothing. The thought tumbled about my head as I ran, distracting me and jabbing me with its significance. That rock was more than twice my height. My skin still tingled with an unrealised power. I could have gone higher.
Space Marines are normally 2.5 meters tall, so he jumped 5 meters, and he could have jumped higher.
40KPH easily,
Again, nothing special.
Pausing, I looked back over my shoulder at the diminishing image of the cliff-face behind me, with the storm wall rolling towards it. By my own calculations, I had walked about fifteen kilometres in twenty minutes, through a frozen desert in arctic temperatures, and yet I was not even breathing hard.
He was going at 45 km/h, and that was mere walking pace for him.
withstand falls from orbit and be alive,
Again.
A narrow channel had been blown through the sand; it started in a crater about two hundred metres away and ended at my feet. From the look of it, it had been made by the impact and slide of a fast-moving, solid body. Perhaps it was the impact scar of a meteor. Or perhaps the signature of my own arrival on this planet?

gel embedded in the armor for cushion,
Once again...
The only vital part of a Space Marine not protected by his black carapace was his head. Hearts, lungs, stomach, chest, all were impervious to any unarmed blow from even the strongest assailant.
They also have drugs in their armor to help them in combat.
it's a very good fight. Also, their bones are titanium based, giving their muscles more to use plus being surgically strengthened with the drugs. See my earlier quote. And Space Marines have much more durable bones, too. Some extra stuff; in Horus Rising, lightning bolts with the strength of penetrator rounds (anti tank weapons) hit Space Marines and this gets a laugh out of them. In Angels of Darkness, armored Space Marines are stated of being able of punching through tank armor. Space Wolf has Wolf Lord Ragnar open the sealed hatch tank of a Predator tank. Warriors of Ultramar has Learchus pick up a truck, walk with it, and place it elsewhere. There are more examples out there.
This is one helluva fight. I wouldn't fear the tank: I'd fear what I could do to him.
It's quite the other way around actually. The Space Marine is superior in every way to even a Spartan containing the best strengths of the strongest Spartans in the UNSC. Fail.
