Buff Fabian Strategy's "Front Line" Perk; give it SGA's Ammo Regen

Yes, another Fabian Strategy buff request. However, this one is fairly reasonable. Obviously, Fabian Strategy is designed to fight in close-quarters, and all its perks and the recent changes to the weapon reflect that. However, it still is lacking compared to all other Exotic Auto-Rifles, because even with the weapon turning into a miniature Hitler's Buzzsaw (the massive Rate of Fire boost and stability when the Front Line Perk triggers), it doesn't do enough damage or stagger to make the weapon viable. Even a regular Legendary Auto Rifle of the High RoF/Low Impact archetype can slaughter a swarm of Hive Thralls faster (tested in Oryx's Court, and granted, those Legendary Autos all had better perk rolls). Realistically, giving Fabian Strategy the SGA ammo regen into the Front Line perk makes perfect sense given that it Fabian Strategy is designed to function at close quarters and given the fact that Fabian Strategy doesn't do anywhere enough damage per magazine to really take advantage of the Front Line perk (you're likely to end up just reloading more often than killing). And by tying the ammo regen into the Front Line Perk, the ammo regen only procs when within the ideal engagement range of the weapon, meaning at close ranges. That's it. The pitiful Impact of the base weapon itself on top of the relatively close range required to proc Front Line will offset the addition of this buff, and it still won't be as good as all the other Exotics, but would be good enough as a Class-specific Exotic weapon. Let's look at the other Exotic Autos available for comparison. Zhalo has Arc damage and the ability to occasionally regen ammo after double-kills (notable when dealing with a near-endless onslaught of Hive Thralls) as well as occasionally chain a bit of damage over to a nearby enemy. It also has a boost to accuracy the longer it's fired. Hardlight has no damage falloff, can overpenetrate, ricochet, and has glass-half full to help it out with the lower half of the magazine. Monte Carlo makes power melee-spamming easy (extra useful for Striker Titans, although it can benefit Infinite Personal Shield Defender Titans and spawn Infinite Sunspots for Sunbreakers) and is also fairly accurate and stable compared to other Exotic Autos (Hardlight surpasses it, but it's easier to land headshots with Monte than Hardlight). Suros Regime has the Spin Up option to fire faster and thus proc Suros Legacy Faster, which deals more damage AND has a chance to heal on hit once at half-magazine, which is still better than Fabian Strategy's bonus damage only on kills and chance to heal only when at critical HP levels. If the Front Line Perk is buffed with SGA's ammo regen, it would at least bring Fabian Strategy close enough to the other Exotic Auto Rifles to make it a worthwhile alternative, as well as a worthwhile entry-level Exotic (being as it's free after a bit of Gunsmith ranking and quest running). It would also be on par with the quality of Tlaloc and Ace of Spades, where are also entry-level Exotics for Warlocks and Hunters, but Exotic enough to actually be Exotic and useful. There wouldn't need to be any further changes, and Fabian Strategy can finally live up to its namesake; wearing down opponents until they give up and die, or until the wielder makes a mistake and dies.

Who is the greasy mother-blam!-er downvoting this? Who the -blam!- thinks Fabian is even OP? Or is it Fabien? Did they downvote for grammar? What the -blam!-... This gun seriously deserves something to make it work, so does Ace of Spades to be fair. Tlaloc is still pretty good but Mida overshadows it now so Warlocks probably whine their precious Tlaloc isn't as good anymore. Mfw it's still got a better niche than our guns AND they've basically been practicing Scout meta since Day 1 so GG to any notion of balance. Guess I'll just have to play more Blops. Bungo needs to get better at making fun and useful guns. Not these stupid guns with perks that see use maybe 15% of the time if you're lucky. I'm tired of these inconsistent items being given the 'Exotic' slot when they're not even worth being called Legendary, and the Legendary perks are all the same thing with filler for TTK. Reload when people are nearby, reload when this, reload when that. Oh and weapon handling, too! You get both, but only when "x" happens. Oh and +damage... with 3+ enemies nearby. You hardly even see it work in PvE unless you walk outside of Sniper range (which isn't always what you're supposed to be doing,) so it's useless there. Then there's the fact that 1v3+ in PvP is basically instant death, the logistics of this perk ever being used successfully are slim to none. More wasted brainpower, more wasted dollar bills. Icarus made sense. It was even useful for some guns/maps/playstyles more than others, and it was a condition-based perk. They don't have to be overly complicated to oblige a powerful bonus. An Icarus for damage would've been an amazing addition, especially if it could roll with Icarus on the same gun. Or imagine making an Exotic designed around being useful no matter the situation? You guys seriously dropped the ball here and it looks on purpose. Like you fluffed up the available perk pool with some duds to keep Little Timmy playing another month longer after searching for 1k Yard Stare with Hidden Hand before giving up five months into the xpac. Nobody's happy with the way this has been looking ever since SRL, and it's only gotten worse. Guerilla Fighter is an honestly good perk that I hardly ever see used correctly but all the same, bravo! Great perk idea. I honestly think they should've made more spots to setup on if this perk was going to be relevant, but they left most of the new maps barren of spots to use a perk like this. Frontier is the only one that comes to mind as a possible honeyhole for Guerilla Fighter. But most of these reload/weapon handling fluff perks were awfully useless. Please don't do anything like that again. Especially considering we wouldn't even need rerolls or good rolls at all IF YOU JUST HAD NOTHING BUT "GOOD" OPTIONS TO BEGIN WITH! But here we are again with your incessant need to try and 'force' a grind where there's none to be had. Damn just ranted about a whole lot more than Fabian... whoops.
