oh welcome back :) and thanks again
-
Are you an actual developer btw?
-
nope, in college now for game design, but I am working on my first iphone app so I guess I will kinda be an indie dev when it goes live in a few months.
-
Sweet. I am studying software development but really want to get into game development. Have a couple ideas I'd really like to try out.
-
hope everything works out for you, you should really try out any ideas you get because you never know if one will hit the jackpot. :)
-
Mind if I ask if your using Swift or objective C and why? I want to learn Swift, just wondering if it's worth it
-
I personally use Unity 5 and C# scripting. I used to use a program called Game Maker when I was younger. Never tried Swift or Objective C so I can't help you there unfortunately. With Unity I can build games for almost any platform with the same C# coding language.

I just started checking out Unity. It seems like a really convenient solution. It's just I have no experience at all in game design and I can't seem to find any complete tutorials on 2D game developing. Hope this isn't getting annoying.

There are some good tutorial videos here https://unity3d.com/learn/tutorials at the bottom are more categories that cover things like the basic interface and how to get started with unity, as well as scripting and other things. And no you are not annoying lol.

Also thanks :) you too
