You know I have seen a lot of destiny fanboys defend this game by saying "it's just a drought of content like with every doc release for destiny get over yourself and stop commenting on a destiny forum" but the thing is, yes this has happened before but it gets worse every time and they lose more players every time and destiny fanboys actually use this as a defense!!! I mean they use a defense that admits that he game has a content drought and loses player base and they get all snarky and shit about it saying something like "ha I sure showed him hat this game is amazing"..... I mean if their will be a drought and player drop like this every DLC and game release their is no way the player base will be big enough to support the game 10 years from now. Their will obviously still be players playing the game but it feels almost like the people that still enjoy playing the game are like trump supporters. They defend something so poisonous and destructive with stupid reasoning and they make up a small portion of the human race.

  • I am a destiny fanboy (I have no choice but to call myself that after playing for over 30 days of solid gameplay) and even I am telling bungie to get their head out of their a$$. sure we have had droughts before but those droughts where reinforced with the knowledge that another batch of "content" was coming out with X things and around X time (+/- a few weeks) and it was themed around X. right now all we have is some time in spring (that is a spread of 3 fing months on top of this one mind you) and will be between the festival of the lost (I would say the smallest and simplest "event" you can probably make) to not quite as big as TTK (a proper DLC). that is like a contractor telling its client that they can build their house in the ballpark of 2 weeks- 5 months and will cost them somewhere between 100k-1million to build. personally even though I have loved their previous works Im not sure this "contractor" deserves support when they can't even answer our most basic questions with anything other then "let me take this to the devs and have them look at it...still waiting 1 year later. sorry for the insane wall of text just wanted to affirm that not all fanboys are mindless sheep while also venting my anger over being flat ignored on the PvE side for 5 months.

  • In summary it's not a bad game but the most disappointing game of all time and continues to be disappointing even after release.

  • That's just the way it is dude. Their are literally people that have opinions (nothing wrong with having one btw) that are so misguided and the logic they use is so bad that it literally makes me cringe that it's even possible for anyone with a human brain to be that stupid and I see it all the Time. And their is no problem with likening the game I like destiny for the game that it is but bungie has made me lose all hope that the game will improve or they will even listen to feedback. I still hope that someday they will go back the the way they were but I don't see that realistically happening. I'm guessing what pretty much happens though and I'm about 90% sure this is what is going on right now is that since they are not making any substantial content for destiny anymore they are going to keep giving us pvp events because they already made all the money they can through DLC so they are resorting to micro transactions and *free *DLC (pvp events, item re skins, shaders, emblems) to give them at least some money until the release of the next game. And I'm guessing because they are doing that they predicted they would get hate for ignoring the PVE side and lack of content so they shut the door and locked it and are not going to say that much or solve any problems that the community bring up until the next game.

  • that is my fear too and If that's true 90% of their player base is going to abandon them.

  • I'm not gonna buy any of their games again because I don't wanna feel like a company is disrespecting my money and time again neither do I wanna feel that disappointed again but their are always people that will buy something main stream. As long as it has commercials and adds it guaranteed to make money back and that's the way it is. Company's will always take advantage of this and their is nothing you or me can do to change that unless more than 95% of the community bands together on social media like they did with the fine bros then nothing will ever change.

  • I mean it's happening right now and this is not the first company to do something like this. It's called jumping ship after they made all the money they can from a game without any consideration for the players after they bought the last buyable thing from the game. But they are doing it while still making money from small micro transactions and leaving a small team to keep pvp alive until the next game
