Hawkmoon
Bungie you have really ruined Hawkmoon. Right now the last word has better range and stability. Hawkmoon simply can not compete anymore. The first nerf was fine but now the gun is in un usable.

Even sadder is if you had Hawkmoon in Y1 and still remember how awesome it was. You had more reserve ammo to use. You could hit what you were aiming at. It actually felt like an exotic weapon. Not its garbage and can't even hit the broad side of a barn unless RNG smiles on you. Even more depressing is the fact that Jon W and his merry band of idiots wrecked the HawkAwsome for no good reason. Their first excuse was that in very very rare instances (and the asses admitted as much in the patch notes) all three magic bullets would stack allowing a 1 hit kill in PvP. (Yep once again PvP was at the root of another ruined gun) so they nerfed the damage bonus on LiTC and Holding Aces and added two more rounds to the mag. In truth no one from PvP had actually even complained about this. Then came the range and accuracy nerfs. The range nerfs were deserved but the accuracy nerf was completely arbitrary. Keep in mind when Jon W wrecks a gun he does a complete job of it and is actually the only part on his job that he's any good at. By the way he then went on to nerf LiTC twice more in subsequent patches because as I said before when the prick wrecks a gun he makes sure it's good and broken. So now it's junk,what was once affectionately known as the HawkAwsome is now a limp Chicken. So send your thanks to Jon W and the Sand Box and the weapon Dev crew for their fine work with both the Hawkmoon and the Fusion Rifle. The fake as fake Auto Rifle buff,the rise of the Sniper Meta and the return of Pulse Rifles to mediocrity right next to their AR cousins and all those fine Crucibabies who did so much to bring us to where we are today.

If you shoot at a speed that would let you be competitive your second shot hits eight feet to the left and third ricochets off a rock and hits you in the knee allowing yourself to become an easy kill for your target who has started dancing to add some flare to his kill so he can put it on youtubd with the title "This Idiot is still using Hawkmoon."

3 RepliesTbh I use hawkmoon and I feel its ok but yes some hits don't even register literally im aiming atb them in a few feet and im hitting them in the body head on and some bullets don't even land

The range nerf was really stupid, i can barely 2 shot, its meant for mid range combat but now it feels like last word range. Buff range 10+ instead of the -20

1 ReplySeriously. The gun is ass. Seems like the bullets actually disappear out of ideal range. Inside that range they are very inconsistent.
