Another high medal score PVP'er that is salty because they don't get to spend their days curb stomping average and low skilled players in PVP...
People have been asking for SBMM since launch... They put it in effect, now everyone wants things back the way that they were... But the biggest complainers always seem to be the top tier PVP player who are pissed because they don't get to spend their day stomping scrubs into the ground... It sucks constantly running into players who beat the shit out of you and cause you to go negative, doesn't it? That's what 80% of the community has been dealing with since launch, and why so many players don't enjoy playing crucible... You should get matched with players that are around your skill level... I can't count how many times top-tier PVP players have posted on these forums that average players need to stop whining, because it makes shitty players better to get their eyes bashed in over and over again by them... Now that the shoe is on the other foot, it's "too sweaty"... It's always -blam!-ing sweaty for casual players who are being matched up against players that are 10x better than them. As has been said a thousand times on the forum when average players complain about getting wrecked in PVP, "it's for your own good"... "It'll make you better". "Stop whining"...

Have you ever thought of the fact that for the people in the lets say 1.8+ kd range play games that are incredibly boring? Everyone is camping because they don't want to mess up their KD, this makes matches really slow and boring for the most part. On top of that the connections are pretty terrible if you're in the higher kd range. Some people just want to play crucible to have fun and relax, but you can't really have fun and relax if every game you play is slow, boring, campy and sweaty as hell with some nice red bar warriors. If you're not good in pvp then you need to improve. Once you hit that 1.8/2.0+ KD you'll see exactly what the top tier pvp players are talking about.

I don't think it's based on kd. They have a battle rating and other factors. My kd isn't great. But a lot of that has to do with me not really caring about it and committing rocket suicide on heavy round wins and general shenanigans on purpose. But I still get matched with really good players. It seems like I'm matched with players who are just over my skill level and I can see the win but just can't make it happen. Not every match of course, but many.

I think it's mostly based on kd because they want everyone to have a 1.0 kd or atleast around there

If bad players play bad players then they wont ever improve and if good players only good players the games become terribly boring in itself by the so called "sweaty tactics". A mix of all skill levels ensures a balanced gameflow. We all had in the past games where your team stomped the other team and the enemy team stomped yours, but it was way more fun then now imo. The main problem tho is the skill over connection priority. For example when a skilled dude from Europe that plays late at night coz of his long work shifts and the EU population obviously decreases then the SBMM drops him against NA players and that creates unpleasant latency issues and high pings. Very noticable also in my case at late night game sessions when the queue takes up to 5 minutes and red bar amounts noticably increases. That said iam not COMPLETELY against a form of SBMM, but there should be a playlist with and without. Also the shady lies about SBMM in the first made ppl very pissed and that rightfully so...

The reason people with bigger scores complain is because they only get matched up with better people, which could be from Germany..... And we also asked for dedicated servers sense release, I fact we asked more often.....,

Invalid. I'm not top tier and hate SBMM. If you're bad ad PVP then expect to be killed a lot. If you're good, you'll kick the bad players asses Simple. That's how the game should work

Hi, we have not spoken before. First. I don't give a single shit about kd. Never have. Second. I want to come home and enjoy myself. Not sit here intently focused on the screen like my life depends on it. Third. You don't understand why this is being said because you aren't in my skill bracket. I'm not trying to be funny, but it's true. So when you go into pvp, the enemies are pretty easy to fight. When I go into pvp, every single match is very challenging. What I'm asking for is simply to have a non skill based pvp experience. What they will probably do is make a playlist or something. But what happens then will be that all the good PVPrs will use it and it'll be as sweaty as ever. I realize there is a large skill gap. Trust me. I was NOT good at pvp and it took me quite a while to get where I'm at. I used to get carried to the lighthouse. A lot. Now I can complete a flawless passage with a positive kd and not feel like a moron.

You have been carried to much in trials, your stats have been boosted in elimination due to that and you are being matched with people at that same level. It's your own fault so suck it up buttercup.

You think? I can hold my own for the most part now. I used to really suck. I swear when I got the scarab the level of difficulty in normal crucible rose significantly. Again I'm not saying I can't play the shit. I just don't want to have to try so hard in every match. But yeah, you may be right..

I like the way people try to cover it up by saying it's all about connection. It has nothing to do with connection. Like Smith said, these pub stompers are just upset that now they can't play against scrubs in every match. It is mostly the Youtubers that are doing the whining, because they need scrubs to get good gameplays. The majority of players actually like SBMM. Makes for a much better experience when the games are competitive. Hopefully they never go away from SBMM.

Last few weeks in Crucible i have played 2 kids form Germany, 3 from Spain 4 from England 2 From mexico, Shit load from Ireland, I know this because i message every game to find out were people are from when it is yellow bar for the whole lobby. I am from Canada and before SBMM i matched against friends from around my area all the time randomly, now its yellow bar across the globe, you don't know how -blam!-ING annoying it is, it's to the point that i can only play Trials to have green bar connections because it is not SBMM. Or organized play against my friends that are high kd as well. That is the only way i am guaranteed a green bar which is pathetic.

It's not connection...really? How often do you play crucible? Since Bungie switched all I seem to come across are red bar players who can't be touched. You're statement is clearly made out if pure ignorance. You ever stop to think that the reason why certain people have good stats is due to having an connection advantage. I played against good players in year 1...in year 2 the players who win lag.

Every game has sbmm to a degree and it's needed however it should never be prioritised over connection.

My first FPS was black ops 1. Every game I got stomped. I struggled to get UAVs. But I never complained and I got better. I didn't get or need the developers help to have fun. I just played and now I'm considered a skilled PvPer. Now skill based matchmaking is just annoying. It screws with the connections and makes it frustrating for good players. When I was a noob I accepted that I was bad and didn't complain when I got killed.

Pussy. If you are now so skilled, then get to the lighthouse by beating the best. If a Super Bowl game is the Broncos vs. a team of 10 year olds.....it really doesn't prove shit when the Broncos win. As you PVP champs always say.....get better scrub. The same logic applies here.....guess you still need to get better. P.S. I know I stink at PVP so calling me out on it won't bug me one bit.

So then the Lower ranked PVP players get free pass to the lighthouse?? It's like having the Olympics for the average person, because they suck but are the best of the shittest competitors they get a gold medal the same as the best of the best get? This is what is wrong with people in this generation, something is to hard for me make it easier. I am up at the top 1% but probably the bottom 30% of that top 1% so with SBMM i only play the botom top one % which results in games won or lost with 100 points WHICH IS BORING as -blam!- i miss getting paired against someone better and being like damn i need to practice more it would drive me to get better now its a STALE mate ever game which imo is boring as -blam!-.
