[BUNGIE] Crimson Days and Destiny Update 2.1.1 Vital Information

Around 10:00 AM PST on Tuesday February 9th, Destiny players may be asked to login again upon returning to orbit to download a patch.
We’re aware that some consoles attempt to verify all content (18+ gigs) of previously installed patches to ensure there are no issues with previously downloaded content. [b]Do not cancel out of this verification, or you will be required to re-download all previous updates[/b].

So are all 6 bounties weekly as in tomorrow if I've done them all there won't be anymore? I never do the weekly crucible quests.

1 ReplyI did all you suggest and yet im sitting here having to download an 19 gigabyte update that most of it is already installed on to the system. this is quite a annoying. Why do you guys keep adding on to one big update for all the changes? Why can't there be smaller update?

Dafuq is wrong with this update?! I keep getting wasp error code and I've downloaded the update already. I can't redownload the whole game again cuz its a mother -blam!-ing 18gb+ and internet data here in my country is -blam!-ing expensive! It will take me a a week and additional paymrnts to finish downloading the whole -blam!-ing game again. You've messed up big time bungie congrats!

I guess not, they were to busy doing motion capture on another set of crappy emotes to try and snatch some money out of us. Drop dead.... a few weeks till The Division drops, then I won't be around until a meaningful and THOUGHT OUT patch ir released. Basically when the only thing coming out of the devs ass is excrement , not patches

When I got to my games and apps it says I'm at over 6,000% when I click the destiny icon to play the game it comes up as 39% and it's been downloading for hours!!! Why such a big upload all at once?!?

With the additional cosmetics implemented in the tower, some areas now have poor FPS on XB1.

2 Replies[i]Destiny[/i] asked to do an Application Update on my PS4 this evening so I agreed and watched a blank progress bar under "Downloading update file..." for ten minutes. Nothing has crept up in the slightest and my Fibre is up and fast and works on my iMac. I could see if it is the same on my ONE as I also have [i]Destiny[/i] there, but reading the responses on this forum I wondered if it was safe to press Circle to go Back, check my PS4's internet connection and retry, or just leave it until tommorrow. I'd rather not leave my PS4 on all night. Thank you in advance for any suggestions you can make to resolve this, I'm still at zero progress after typing all this.

1 ReplyIf you are having issues with game restarting on PS3 ,when you try and update, do this.... Highlight the Destiny icon on your PS3 menu. Hit Triangle, scroll to 'Check for Update".

Removing existing content to try to force people to try to play the game "your way" = WORST IDEA EVER. That's saying a lot given the way Bungie treats it's Destiny clientele.

2 RepliesSo it says I only have 250 MB to download and it has taken a half hour. Even on dial up it shouldn't take but a couple minutes to download that amount.

It says bungie replied but they did not they put the stuff up and ran like babies. why did you not put up destiny is dead and turn out the lights. And quit sending us to xbox or playstation to fix the problem
