how it will be the downfall of the US as we know it...
Have a little think about what will happen to the cost of living if household income rises. Prices of everything will increase to match. You will be no better off, all that extra people earn will be paid out in the rising cost of living. It will be exactly the same as it is now, nothing will change.

 • Wages are supposed to go up with inflation and rising prices, but it doesn't. The rich are getting richer and a good chunk of people are blind to that revelation. The majority of the rich don't give a -blam!- about you, they're in it for the money. They get the middle and working class to argue like children while they sit and laugh and get mindless sheep to follow their cause. Something isn't right when a wealthy, ignorant, crude billionaire wants to run for president and says "I'm for the people". Give me a break. He is not.

 • Uh no. That's a myth. In order to compliment a higher minimum wage, prices would only increase $0.05-$0.50 That's barely noticeable. I'd gladly pay that much more so someone can have a higher wage.

 • Price of everything would increase I don't make minimum wage so I can add all that up on top of paying more taxes an can turn around an consider that a nice pay cut. Sanders will shaft me harder then Obama did by screwing all of my work benefits. What's gonna stop company's from buying robots that can put a hamburger together... They already exist an will save them money in the long run 12 cents per kW/hr is cheeper then 10.00 bye bye all the jobs you want to create

 •
Wages are supposed to go up with inflation and rising prices, but it doesn't.
Do you not see how erroneous this statement is? Of course wages go up with inflation; look at any historical wage chart and you won't find a flat line from 1950 to now. And instead of demanding an increase in pay, how about we first deal with the Fed inflating to dollar?
The rich are getting richer and a good chunk of people are blind to that revelation.
Yes the rich are getting richer, so are the poor. I don't know the figures of monetary wealth in the U.S., but just look at all the things the "poor" have now that only the "rich" could afford a few decades ago.
Something isn't right when a wealthy, ignorant, crude billionaire wants to run for president and says "I'm for the people". Give me a break. He is not.
Can't argue with you here.

What do you have to say for that?

 • Inflation is the result of a growing economy. It happens regardless of a minimum wage increase.
