Hey! Listen! Democratic socialism has a huge difference from regular socialism. Don't generalize so much.
Democratic socialism has a huge difference from regular socialism.
Yeah a purely semantic difference.

Hey! Listen! Not at all. Their beliefs, policies, and virtues are vastly different.

Stop spreading the semantic stupidity.

Can you even define democratic socialism? Do you even know what it is, and what policies it advocates? I highly doubt you've even gone into research what policies each candidate advocates, let alone the different forms of democracy.

Yes Democratic socialism, as the name explicitly says, is a form of socialism that focuses on the economic teachings of Marx instead of the political autocratic rule. It utilises the democratic process of voting for representation (with representatives, maybe, seeing as it is not said to support republicanism). This calls, fiscally, for greater control of the marketplace to full government monopolies on some industries which the supporters of the government deem necessary and proper to be held. This collapsing of certain aspects of the free market is meant to assure economic stability, rather than growth, for the poorer demographics and is meant to remove social inequalities to a large extent (as supported by Bernie by his own admission). This ideology governs the vast majority of Europe and the developed Asian world on an economic scale and, politically, the original state of the Soviet Union and nearly current state European countries; their parties being reduced to a more homogeneous platform each year. Such was the ideology of democratic socialism as first developed by Marx, implemented by Europe and the collapsed CCCP and to be ended as an experiment within the next 25yrs as Europe's economy shatters entirely as it has shown the trend of for the past 10+yrs as seen by the stock exchange and currency values and BLS reports which show startling deficiencies in skilled labour - a warning sign. Happy? I pulled this straight from Marx himself and then cited my logic and observations with specific examples.
