From what I've seen, the Covenant have shown far better in naval battles than the Empire.

The Empire's star destroyers are around on par with a covenant super carrier. According to first strike the covenant had around 100 of them around high charity. The empire has 25,000 Star destroyers. And have a massive industry which will allow them the make more star destroyers then the covenant super carriers

Edited by Edcub One: 2/9/2016 4:40:04 PMThere are 1000s of those. Plus they are over 5.5 km long, and only represent a fraction of the Covenant Navy. Similar to how the Empire has more ships then just Star Destroyers.
