I kept my Stillpiercer (love it to death), but I agree; anything that you can only get once per play through should be either available at a kiosk or from a vendor.
They did it with the legendary swords (Shaxx sells them), so they should do the same with Stillpiercer /Sussano/Imobius at the gunsmith or at a kiosk.
