So my friend and I just back into this game this past week (haven't played since vanilla) and I picked up The Ram from the weekend vendor which will be my only exotic armor and I have read that its great for viodwalker but it seems I'm finding it difficult to find builds for it. Is The_Hunted's build for The Ram good? What would you suggest?

The ram is a great exotic. It mainly benefits from the voidwalker but it does help other subclasses with the armor buff. With max armor and a chest what increases armor you become almost invincible

I honestly don't use The Ram. I liked it in PvE for a while to make Voidwalker feel more tanky and viable for hard content so I didn't always just turn to Sunsinger, but not really any longer. A lot of people just love it for the armor bonus, but the internal cool down for Life Steal makes hitting your opponent in PvP with 2 quick consecutive melee strikes useless. First hit triggers Life Steal and then you don't get it on hit 2 for the kill. That being said, it's not a terrible choice, just make sure while using it you spec your talents to Surge since you get both the other abilities by default from the helmet.
