It's so strange, I feel like I'm the only person who's adapted to using the weapon perfectly. Because I'm a well rounded player in my eyes, I can get the gun to shoot perfectly straight and have do pretty alright in PvP. Just adapt to it and you'll do fine buddy. Personally, I kinda like it.

The gun has descent stability with the perk but its kick is the most odd feeling I have ever gotten from any destiny primary. It is as if the gun will float as I'm shooting it then suden suddenly recoil with the bullet stream, like it doesn't want to hit the intended target. You are the exception I guess.

I've learned to keep out straight by constantly playing in the heat of the moment whether long range or short. What I do to maintain a straight sight is down towards the left slightly. Give it a try and let me know if it helps!

Yeah I've adapted to use it as well but then I used it to infuse my tlw XD
