I've been playing this game type and it's a lot of fun. No radar, and you don't spawn with special ammo.
We all know that Trials is a snipe and shotty fest. This would at least make people to use primaries the first few rounds, therefore bringing gunplay back into the game. Also having no radar really makes you stick to your team instinctively.
Another thing I would change is the res. Make it Gears of War execution style and there you go, you die and stay dead until next round. You'd have an actual hardcore gamemode where people couldn't use cheap tactics to get a win making it a true test of skill.
As it stands right now Trials is stupid and the people who think they're on top would get shut down with a new dynamic. I mean what would they do without res-sniping? Probably lose.

Edited by IX Astro VII: 2/14/2016 11:42:50 AMMaybe about the inferno thing, no about the gears of war style thing... Players should have a chance to come back from stupid deaths, especially those scrubs who just watch corners praying for someone to walk into your rectile, getting a headshot and thinking they're american sniper. The only problem I would see about Inferno style is Titans. Titans would abuse the piss out of shoulder charge.

Good idea except the reviving. That's a part of it that takes strategy and makes for interesting rounds
-
Yes!! Heavy round need to be taken out as well
-
$20 says that this guy is the guy who sits and camps around corners with a shotty in inferno.
-
this kid sucks so much no wonder it wants everything nerfed
-
I feel as though having no radar though will only promote camping even more with snipers....I mean it's not hard to hard-core every entrance and just wait it out. I would love that however keep revives it be nice if the revive animation was different to prevent getting sniped everytime...
-
but you aren't good?
-
Bump. Inferno is the bomb diggity.
-
It would be decent if they made that mode and kept the current trials mode so people don't cry about it.
-
Inferno would be nice in trials, but then people would camp and hide near the zone and it would be an all out war, which don't get me wrong would be awesome but too many campers with shotties would appear and people would rage and got salty, which would be great also, I think it should be a separate version, so there could be the regular and inferno your choice
-
All that would do is make all the unskilled players who can't pay attention to their surroundings whine and not play anymore. Real pvp starts with inferno.
-
Just go play another game if you want those rules
-
-
All of crucible should be: Dedicated servers with region locks/ping limits No radar Friendly fire on Limited special ammo Objective oriented Oh wait, I think I'm just in need of a different game. Carry on.
-
Mega shoulder charge mode!
-
Making trials with no radar would just make it a shotgun camp shop. Spawn with no specials is cool tho
-
I don't understand why people keep complaining about heavy ammo its one mother-blam!-ing round only, and both teams get it, so either team could win, heavy doesn't make a difference , what does make a difference is how fking good you are!!!
-
Just no radar
-
Make it no radar and no heavy, then I am happy. I like using special weapons when running defender or any other cqc subclass.
-
I think it would be cool to have a modifier for the 9 th round and or overtime modifiers
-
trials is fine the way it is stop trying to fix shit that isn't broken. this is the reason we have this shit year 2
-
1stly, if you die, you suck. 2ndly, if you get res sniped, your teammates suck. 3rdly, if there was no radar in Trials, the matches would go on forever. Meaning even more special ammo in the game, and a very boring fight. 4thly, there is currently nothing wrong with Trials of Osiris, other than lag caused by cheaters and skill based matchmaking. These need to be changed far more than anything you said. Lastly, you are NOT a special snowflake, no matter what your mom says.

Edited by Griever986: 1/21/2016 1:03:55 PMAgree and disagree. Radar should stay but spawning with out special and having less of it available would certainly make it more challenging and entertaining. Revives are ok with me but I do think teams should switch spawns each round.

Edited by NYDIBS: 1/21/2016 12:58:06 PMit's horrible. just blink invective don't think anybody I played even used their primary once
-
I sort of agree. but when there's only one player left, I think the radar should come on so he can't just hide out. too time consuming.
-
Inferno rules need to apply to ALL of crucible
