You don't list scopes which is probably the most important aspect. If you're new to sniping shortgaze or Longview slr10 are both good options. Ambush lowers the aim assist and is hard to use of you're just starting.

I edited the post to show the perks. Is aim assist a separate perk? Or is it automatic with the 1k?

The 1k has a base aa amount that can change with perks and scopes. For example, ambush scope lowers, while shortgaze and Longview slr10 increase. And perks like hidden hand also increase the aa.
