Love all of this. I main a sunsinger, and I think something that would be great (maybe PVE only) would be that fireborn is automatically granted after 5 minutes even with another perk selected even if the super is used.
So, let's put it this way, you're fighting warpriest, your buds need some orbs, so you use radiance and kill some adds, make some orbs. But now... With this new option, even if you die at this point, you can still self res. The contingency is that you had your super ready to go for 5 minutes minimum to allow this perk to be activated.
Thank about it, as a nightstalker, I almost never run around for 5 minutes straight without using my super, or defender, or gunslinger, or striker... Wait no one uses striker in PVE.
Anyway, make it so I want to use radiance while alive! Throw in some kind of guaranteed fireborn after the super has been ready for maybe around 5 minutes.
After looking through that, this would certainly have to be PVE only as it would be insanely cheap in PVP.
But definitely fun and very useful in a raid.

Imagine if there was an exotic that provided fireborn or radiant skin or song of flame, either would be so effective, radiant skin and song of flame would make a team get really powerful, radiant skin and fireborn would make an extremely powerful juggernaut that just wouldn't care, and fireborn plus song of flame would help out a lot in trials in clutch moments when you would need to Res team mates and could help them get their supers quickly too if you decided to, like fireborn and song of flame Would really allow teams to make strong recoveries to the point where it could be called op, but let's be real here, why can't we have exotics like that when the helm of inmost light for Titans makes them indestructible, might as well make sunsingers actually viable as support classes by letting them self Res and get everybody their super without even getting kills if needed be. It's just logic man

I always wanted Fireborn to still be usable if you died in mid Super, but bringing you back when you died using it would drain any remaining Super. As fun as it sounds though, I'm personally fine the way it is.

That you want revive refreshed every 5 minutes. If you want make orbs, use your super. You don't have to die to use radiance.

Why is that ridiculous? It's 4:00 minutes currently. (With tier 5) or 3:40... I forget. How about 6 minutes? I know I don't have to die, but I've used it to make orbs and the grenade recharge rate got nerfed to hell since 2.0 unless you spam build, but then that sucks for intellect... Ugh I just know when I run around in a fight I have fireborn in my mind as a very selfish support class, as in, save myself if crap goes down, while as a nightstalker, I can't wait to use it and use it often.
