I feel like the more points you get the better your RNG gets. Everyone would have a base RNG chance, but those who preform better have a better chance.
I mean, IB is basically a tournament of skill, why not let those who preform better get better drops?

You are silly. You know that's how it should be, rewarding those that work hard and do well. Well at Bungie they don't want anyone to be special or have an advantage so they break everything and do everything they can to make sure everyone's equal.
